Thread: Memorial Service for Stephen 05/04/10 (Attn: 13th Regiment, Malks, Lazarus, and Melissa)

Cahill walks in quietly, he is dressed in a black suit covered by a black duster. He immediately walks to a chair and sits down quietly, staring out into space as if distracted.

Lazarus quietly enters and heads for a seat in the middle of the area. He looks to those around him and nods to any who may make eye contact with him.

Entering in a quite reserved manor Stan greats and offers condolences to Lydia before taking a seat. He is dressed in a simply pair of black slacks, black shirt and tie. He enters and sits to the left of Cahill, giving a simple node as he sits.

Lydia gives a smile to those that have showed for the memorial. "I would like to thank you all for showing up. This means alot to me." Looking to Ash "Thank you."

Cahill looks to Lydia.

"Maddalena sends her regrets Miss Bates. She is tied up on matters of import to the City, I'm sure you understand that she would be here if duties allowed.

Were there to be speeches or other honorifics for the young man?"

Pius walks over to a chair and sits, he is dressed in a simple black shirt and black pants. He looks around at all that have gathered. He has a bible in his left hand and a rosary.

Pius looks to Lydia as she is talking, "I am very sorry for your loss, Lydia. Once everyone has arrived, if you would allow me, I would like to lead us in prayer to guide him on his journey."

Looking at Cahill "Yes the City does come first. I thank you for coming. I understand Maddalena not being here, as well as the others."

Looking at Stan and Lazaurs "I appreciate you being here. Lazarus after this is over may I have a word with you please."

Glancing back at Pius, " I would like that Pius. I am happy that I was able to save his soul, now I wish him a safe journey. Please go ahead."

Walking with Ash she takes a seat and leans against him a bit.

Benjamin will show up wearing a nice western shirt, a dark blazer, and new jeans. His cowboy boots are also near-new. He removes his black hat as he enters, and walks directly over to Lydia. "'Sorry' is such a stupid word, Lydia, so I will not say I am 'sorry' for your loss. I will say that your young friend is in a better place, and I envy him very much. Allow yourself this time of sadness, then rejoice in the knowledge that he is free. Sing his tales to all that will listen, and let his short life provide you with courage when you need it the most." Benjamin smiles widely. "I am happy to have known him, even just through you. He has impacted your life in ways you may not realize yet. But I have faith that you will come to see it."
