Thread: Classy Chat(ATTN: Massimo and Anyone 01.2.10)

Massimo walks into Amanda's new domain dressed in a pair of black slacks and a Crimson Button down shirt. This meeting was not an easy one but he knew it needed to occur. He walks up to a man at the bar and says,

"Good Evening, I am Massimo Amadore. Ms. Winter's is expecting me."

The 'bartender' smirked at Massimo and rolled his eyes, "Who do you think I am? I am just here to watch the place.... Up the stairs and to the right.. last door." He grumbles. And then goes back doing 'bar tending' things in a mocking manner.

Massimo proceeds up the stairs to the door and knocks awaiting a reply from inside.

Amanda finishes the paragraph she was on and gently places a book mark in it. Placing the book on the table she stands and looks at her wrist watch. She passes by a mirror next to the door and meets eye to eye with herself and then opens the door to reveal Massimo.

"Evening Massimo. Nice of you to join me this evening, come in." Amanda opens the door wide enough for him to pass.

Massimo enters the room and says,

"Thank you for meeting with me this evening Ms. Winters. I believe this meeting is long overdue. How does this night fare you?"

Amanda looks around proudly with a smile, "A very wonderful time. This is the first time I have made use of my office. It's very fare evening, thank you for asking. What business do you have for me, that is so overdue?"

Amanda walks to her desk and stands in front of her chair. She then motions to the chair in front of her, "Please have a seat, if you wish Mr.Amadore."

Massimo makes his way towards the chair but does not sit until Amanda Does.

"The business i speak of is that of an apology. I don't do these often so i dont have much experience. In the matter of the Toreador Primogen seat much slander has come about surrounding your name and i was too Short-Sighted to ask these issues of you. I do not doubt the power and sway you have within the court nor your grace in handling such a whirlwind of delimma's in a matter of weeks. For this i must commend you and say you are truly wise beyond your years. I do not know what the course of action should be from here but my opinion i feel incredibly used as of recent weeks, first by Angelique and then swiftly followed by Miranda. I do not know if they meant to use me in such a manner but i swiftly am getting sickened by the politics of it all. The thing i feel the worst about is allowing myself to be dumbed into believing what was said."

Amanda watched Massimo's mouth move. She listened intently, but showed no emotion. She adjusted her self slightly in her seat. She then brushed a hair off of her beautiful new desk as she pondered to say.

"Mr. Amadore, you are an interesting man. You come in to my city and ask for me to vouch for you. I did. You seemed like an honest man that I could have at my side. You even volunteeringly said you were at my every wish and command. I had no plans on acting this out. You also may recall you said you were not a political man. On both of these accounts you proved to be dishonest.

You "swiftly" went against me in a twenty-four hour period. On both accounts over false accusation. I am hurt. I thought you truly befriended me; yet you turned on me for no apparent reason. And to a woman with such inexperience as to not know how the politics of the Camarilla work.

I am curious to know what made you think you could walk into this city, be here for a month and decide I was not capable of handling my beloved clan. You, Mr. Amadore, know little to nothing about this city. I am appalled, to be honest, at your lack of knowledge. Did you not see my full city support the evening Mrs.Angelique denounced me? Were you blind to that fact? I don't see how it could have been put more clear. I forgave you that evening without question. It took you approximately a month to bring fourth an apologie, for the second time. I am disappointed, I will not lie, but I will forgive you.

Mr. Amadore, may I ask what made Ms. Montreve more qualified then I? And are you happy with your decision?"
