Downtime - Server Upgrade 7/7/10
Hello Everyone!
Well thanks to the incredible folks here at MGP (that means YOU!) we have reached a point where we need to upgrade our servers!
YAY!!!!
Bad side of a server upgrade is there may be some downtime during the migration.
Our hosts are going to do the upgrade starting at 12:00 a.m CDT this coming Wed.
So the site may go down for a while during this time, up to possibly 3 hours (the site is quite large now!)
So if the site goes down, does weird things, loads odd, or anything else, in the immortal words of Douglas Adams
DON'T PANIC
It is just the price of growing bigger. These guys are really good and they make sure there is a current backup before they move us and all that good stuff, so the site will be running on new, bigger servers with faster processors and more memory by Wed Morning!
