You're right; the information is meaningless.
As far as I know, the automated system doesn't kick out a number that reports to anyone. But again, you are correct; the information is meaningless.

My bad, sorry to not have answered the first time! The program doesn't seem to store your numbers or the numbers it picks. I, in truth, have no idea how the gosh darn thing works. Part of the design for the new version of the player point system that we've hired a programmer to build custom for us will include a way for players to see what numbers they picked, what number would have "won" and more.

As it is, even in the back side of the program I can't find that information out (hence why I don't feel bad entering!)

Feel free to read up more on the product we use to run our player point system at: vbcredits.com

They are also currently working on a redesign of their product and it's my hope they take in the COUNTLESS suggestions we've been making since we started using this program. It has a lot of things our own programmer is seeking to improve upon for the future of MGP.

      Thanks Dee,

I appreciate you looking into the number situation.

Of course in regards to the "Meaningless" concept of knowing the number the computer picks. After thinking about it some more: To my mind, it (Knowing what number the computer picks) isn't actually Meaningless, I realized, my enjoyment of the process is increased if I know what numbers the computer picks. I'm probably not alone in thinking Computers lie/cheat and gosh darned it, I have both an increase sense of well being and enjoyment from knowing what each weeks number is.

Bottom line: I'm more likely to partake in the lottery if I know what number the computer picks each time.
