Thread: A Little Me Time ((Attn: Anyone))

Nathaniel Calhoun, sandy hair and brown eyes... his usual non-descript obfuscation, approaches Pius' table. "Finally, someone with some good taste. I don't suppose you're looking for some company tonight?"

Pius smiles, Sir, how are you this evening. Motions to the chair, "Please join me, sit." picks up his leather case and opens it. "Would you care to enjoy a cigar with me? The smoke is thick and chewy, with a rich, leathery core and elegant hints of earth, complemented by an
assortment of sweet spices on the finish. Medium in body and complex, yet buttery smooth. I do enjoy them so." He slides the case across the table.

As the takes a few more puffs of his cigar and exhales up into the air making rings. "Do you come here allot?"

Calhoun takes the cigar and nods in thanks. "Bill, that is Mr. Cahill, use to host his poker games here every month. Invite only. Real nice affairs... that ended after the drive by ... Bill has been too focused on other things to think about the finer things in life these nights."

He will cut the tip, light it and take a long drag. Exhailing he smiles. "You were very correct, these are nice. I may have to try to get my hands on some. Is this your first time here at Bacchus?"

"Poker night. Well that sounds very interesting. It is something that I have not for a longtime."

Pius nods.

"This is my first time here. I was just driving around a few nights ago and I saw it, but I didn't have time to stop in then. If you can, I strongly suggest that you bye some of these. They are Gurkha Black Dragons and they are some of the best tasting cigars that I have ever had."

Again he dips the end of his almost finshed cigar into the brandy.

"I trust that you are yours are fine these days?"

Calhoun nods. "Thanks to your two new boys. I don't know what would have happened this past saturday without them and that little magic trick of theirs. Droz owes them big... and my family isn't soon to forget your going out on a limb to save one of our own from the lynch mob."

Calhoun waves the waitress back over. "I should have thanked you for that straight off. Without their help... I was at a loss, I'm sure it would have come down to bloodshed."

Pius nods.

"I am sure that Mr. Boone will be happy to hear that they were helpful. I will past that along to him. I know that there are many that have an issue of trust when it comes to us, but we only wish to help in any way we can. This is a time for unity not political chess games among each other. There are bigger issues going on here, matters that need to be address.

"Sir you are a learned man, have you ever heard of the Secert of the Diamond of Two worlds?"

Pius smiles are the young lady when she turns.

Calhoun shakes his head sadly and then orders a drink for himself, dimissing the waitress before speaking, "I do know many things, or I try to, but I haven't heard that phrase before. Though... perhaps I do have something about it in my library. I'll look it up."

He quirks an eyebrow, "Though... the metaphor of diamonds did come up once recently. I'm reluctant to speak on the topic though. I know it's not a proud part of your family history."

Pius nods.

"I can understand that Sir. It is something that I will not press. It was something that has been surfacing a great deal in some investigation."

He places his cigar on the ash tray.

"Should there be another evening of card, I would be honored to sit in should you need a 5th. This is a very nice place, who owns this place?"

Picks up his cigar again, checks the lit end and then places in his mouth.
