Thread: Meeing with Cahill (7/16)

The man frowns and nods his head towards a side door with the stairwell.

"Folks ought to watch their language," he mutters polishing a glass.

(Using etiquette for saying Prince)

Beth nods to the bartender. "Thank you."

Turning she walks over to where he pointed and goes to the stairs. Once outside of his office she knocks on the door.

((The third floor is an open area with tables in the middle, booths down the sides and a bar area that is unmanned most of the time, but cigars are laid out in humidors and there are various alcohols on hand))

Cahill sits at a table in the middle, Jaimie stands in a corner with his fixed smile as he stares into space. A large cigar is in Cahill's hand and a scotch is in a tumbler before him.

"Well, as I live, Miss Williams! Been many a year since I have seen you. How do these nights find you?"

Elizabeth smiles at Cahill "Yes it has been a long time. I have decided it is time to settle in one place. I stopped in to see Nate as I was not sure who was in charge anymore. It is good to see that you are running things." She pauses for a moment "I would be grateful if you would let me stay, I know it would be a trivial thing to do." She smiles again.

Cahill nods.

"Well, I do believe that your family could use the support. They seem to have trouble keeping a speaker in place of late. So, welcome back to Lamar."

"Thank you. And as speaker for my family I have already taken care of some business. It seems a young one had some issues. Nate is handling the problem. So many new ones lately and not enough learning. I think he would make an excellent teacher. In fact I think he has already started class."


"Do you care to tell me who your Seneschal is so I can meet with him?"

Cahill nods.

"We seem to have a rash of people who are not aware of the things they should not be doing lately.

You will want to seek out Mr. Winters of the Toreador."

Beth nods "Mr. Winters, ok. I will seek him out as soon as we are done."

"I guess I better get to work then. So many to take care of and so little time. Unless you have something else we should discuss? If not I will take my leave. It was good to see you again after all these years."

Cahill smiles and nods.

"It's good to see you again. If you need anything, talk to Mr. Winters, I'm sure we can make arrangements."
