Thread: Emanuel's Return to Society [Attn: Everyone 1-30]

the nice longcoat felt odd, so much different than his regular coat. it seemed more and more he was having to change his dressing style to match the upscale places his kind frequented. with a shrug he moved into the bar the smell of the thick smoke reminding him of nights in the hall drinking and smoking with his fellow warriors. he washed the thoughts away with a quick shake of his head. he was here to meet his contact . ordering quietly at the bar the man surveyed the crowd. he stopped on emanuel's face for a second and then kept going. sticking his hand in his pocket he pulled out the phone sending off a quick txt and headed over

" good evening is this seat taken?" he motioned to the one across from the new kindred.

Emanuel takes the man in with a curious look, and shakes his head, "Not at all, not at all. Please." He gestures to the chair, and then extends a hand, "Emanuel van Zant. Pleased to meet you, mister...?"

Boone enters the establishment wearing a tasteful, yet stylish suit with overcoat and gloves. He places a request at the bar. He finds a seat with a good vantage point, removes his overcoat and gloves, and lights up his cigar. He looks around taking note of those present.

"Amsel, Kendov Amsel. i havent heard of anyone who would be able to sit in here moving to town recently. your tastes are impeccable if i may say so." kendov nodded to the man that brought his cigar order and drink. " please make sure to put it on the bill we spoke of earlier" the boy nods slightly and kendov picks the cigar up looking it over. " i much prefer a pipe myself but a good cigar is always a pleasure"

"Indeed," he nods, offering the use of his cigar cutter, "I haven't moved here terribly recently, but I've been keeping to myself mostly while things get situated. You know how such things go. It is a rather charming city though."

He looks the other newcomer over and gives a curt nod before focusing his gaze on Kendov again.

"So what brings you here tonight? And on somebody else's tab of all things? You must have a rather important engagement, I hope I'm not keeping you."

he smiles thinly " a friend in the transportation department, hes been wanting to speak with me for awhile now and offered this fine establishment as a medium. he still has some time if other things have not tied him to his current location. " checking to see no one was looking kendov opened his mouth wider his permanent fangs very obvious. he licks the tip of one closing his mouth quickly again as to not be seen " it is very charming there is a bit of royalty in the city i think you might be intrested in meeting"

Boone returns the nod to Emanuel.

"Oh my," Emanuel's face melts into something of a smile, "Yes, yes I was hoping to meet somebody in our line of work tonight. I'm always anxious to meet nobility, of course. If you can arrange such a thing, I'd be indebted."

" to help i would need to know who to call, a king, a rose? perhaps a warrior-poet? i can smell no savage on you and you have decent looks" he takes a sip of the alcahol swishing it in his mouth before swallowing it down. with a nearby match kendov lights the cigar rolling it slowly.
