It was rare he got the chance to enjoy the clear skies and just watch the stars. He enjoyed it and it was relaxing, so he took the time he had to observe them and enjoy them.

Reply by Anne Bowie on September 4, 2009 at 11:40pm Delete Elise reached Sabre and sat down next to him. She really hated to disturb him, but a moment like this might never present itself again. She cleared her throat and spoke "Good evening Sabre. May I speak with you?"

He returned his gaze back to the stars again, but moved his eyes back to her as she spoke. He knew it was coming eventually and he suspected after how things turned out with Kharma tonight, that Elise wasn't going to put off an opportunity to chew him out. He just said calm and casually, "What's on your mind?"

When he did it was a calm tone, "I don't recall ever having a problem with you until you decided to go off on me. So, the way I see it, I'm not the one who needs to make things right."

In my book that man is barely one step up from a necrophiliac, despite his wealth and fancy clothes" Elise said shaking her head "If you had been in my place you would have given far more than a tongue lashing."

He figured it was just easier to just shoot straight rather than compose a story of putting on a show for Constantino. Instead he figured he would just come clean and he was going to stay calm doing it. He tried to hide the contempt in his voice as he spoke, "You're right. I hate your father. I'd like nothing more for him to disappear from the face of this world. But, it doesn't matter what I want. It matters what Alayna wants. If she wants him, then I will play nice, for her sake."
