Thread: Just waiting ((Takes place the night that everyone gets back from the Justicar. Attn: Sabre, Any))

A large black wolf stalks through the woods as it approaches the lake. The cool breeze rippled through his fur as he approached Kharma. As the wolf notices her presence it stops and looks behind it, then looks all around him. It begins to charge towards her but as it gets closer it leaps and turns into a man. Sabre closes the distance quickly and drops to his knees sliding in beside her as he wraps his arms around her. He doesn't say a word, he just holds her tight to him.

James was sitting in a tree in the park resting from the vigerious training that he had been doing in this night. He spotted Scrynth and hopped from branch to branch being as quiet as he could be. He got to the tree closest to her and dropped out of it and walked up to her. James popped his neck and sat down beside her.

"How are you doing tonight Scrynth?" James asked with signs of sympathy in his voice

Delete *She lets out a low sigh.*

"I'm okay. I just hate the waiting you know?"

*Out of the corner of her eye she see's something large and black heading her way, but before she has time to react to it she is wrapped up in Sabre's arms. When she realizes that it's Sabre she closes her eyes and says a silent prayer thanking the spirits for bringing him back. She wraps her arms around him and holds him close to her.*

"I wasn't sure if you were going to return."

Sabre whispers softly into her ear and says, "Neither was I." For a moment he pauses and keeps from her the fact that he was a split decision away from death before saying, "There was a time there, in Venice that I almost attacked the Justicar, but the only thing that stopped me from doing so was that I told you I would come back."

"Yeah I do know what you mean Scrynth." James said

James noticed some something large and wrapped in shadows. He put a finger on the release for his blade until he noticed that it was Saber. James let out a sigh of relief go. He out to the lake while Scrynth and Saber were talking. when it looked like they were done James looked to Saber.

"Its good to see that you made it back alive my friend." he offered out a hand to shake

An ear splitting yell of pure joy pierces the night and a large splash of water erupts from the lake. Those closest might even get a little wet. The water settles quickly and as the last ripple fades, Elise surfaces shaking water from her hair. The crimson bohemian styled sundress she wore was plastered to her body. She waved enthusiastically at Kharma before beginning her swim to land.

Delete *Kharma looks at Sabre with a worried expression.*

"But why would you attack the Justi...."

*Her sentence fades out as James walks up saying hello to Sabre, and then when she hears the scream she looks out to the lake to see Elise.*

"Hello Elise!"

*Kharma stays there in Sabre's arms, and keeping her arms wraped around Sabre. She knows that she can speak to Sabre another time, and that this is the time to celebrate her family's return.*

Sabre looks her in the eyes knowing what she's thinking. He shakes his head and frowns as he says, "Not all of us came home. Dominic...... He didn't come home."

He reaches over and shakes James' hand, but remains quiet until he hears Elise's screams. He can't help but laugh a moment.
