The woman in the rose patterned dress cleared the treeline with ease, carrying two headless teddy bears with her. She sat them down at the edge of the water next to her and, taking her shoes off, dangled her feet into the cooling liquid. Things had been going well, everyone in this town was very nice so far. She had one bear left to give out and it had been a tough decision on who to give it to. She smiled as she swung her feet in the chilly water. She closed her eyes and her breathing slowed and stopped. She pushed with her mind through the Mist as words whispered past her lips. "Little sister... Little sister...I know you can hear me, I've seen you through the Mist. Come to me, talk with me a while. Come to the lake in the park..." With that done the woman sat still, eyes closed, and waited for her guest to arrive...

"I have felt like someone has been looking for me and calling out to me, was it you all this time?" Looking out to the center of the lake to see what you are looking at, then not seeing anything looks back to you.

I am Maddalena Bonadeo Scatallia. I was called here for a reason I do not yet understand, but I have learned much recently. All of that aside, I asked you here tonight so that I could meet you. And ask your help." She scoots a leaf out into the water and watches it float in a crazy route.

Then she nods her head and turns back to you. Looking back out to the lake again and thinks for a moment. After a few moments she says "Yes I can help you, what is it that you need?"
Reply by Kathy Abromovich on August 15, 2009 at 11:06am Delete She turns to face Lydia with a smile full of conspiracy and friendship. "There is a man here, his name is Stan. He lives in the Mist as we do so he should be easy to pick out. I need you to take this bear to him and tell him it is from Maddalena." She hands the headless bear to Lydia as if nothing is wrong with it. "It has been ten long years and I have fallen behind in my duties. I have given other bears to be delivered to him as well. But I must have the bears delivered to him before I can show my face." She stops herself visibly as if she has been longing for someone to share her thoughts with but isn't certain Lydia is the right person for that.... yet. She suddenly grins brightly. "And if all works out right, I've gotten eight others from other families to carry around teddy bears. Will you help?"
Reply by Christina Horton on August 15, 2009 at 11:18am Delete Taking the headless bear and looking at it wondering what happened to it. Looking back to you she sees that you are looking at like nothing is wrong. "Stan needs this bear?" Watching you for a few minutes and seeing relief on your face she nods her head and says "Yes I will deliver this bear for you." Sitting there a few more minutes watching you. Then she gets up and says "This bear must really be important. Yes I will help and get this to Stan." Then she turns and walks to the woods
