Tamas found himself wandering through the park ofs Lamar. His wanderlust had kicked in, and parks were he only thing that reminded him of wandering eastern Asia like he had done for so many years. Dressed in his usual Gypsy clothing, changed only by his reflective sunglassed hiding the erie green glow behind them, tamas stood out like a sore thumb. Several of the late night walkers giving him a very strange look. Tamas just chuckled as they passed bye, he had gotten use to it a long time ago, he knew in the years to come, they would all be dead, and he would still be wandering, looking the same way.

She thinks about what this place would have looked like if her people still had posession of the land that had been theirs before the white man. She hears a few chuckles behind her, so she turns to see what is going on. A few people are laughing at the man in Gypsy's clothing, she watches the Gypsy for a bit trying to see if he is breathing or not. When she decides that this man must be another member of the night, she walks towards him, and purposfully knocks into some of the people chuckling. She turns and looks at them as she walks by, narrowing her eyes. She speaks to them.*
"I suggest you get on your way...now."
*Her command is almost a bark at them. When they walk on she turns again to see where the Gypsy has gone and follows him.*

Making no attempt to hide, where he was looking. He gave a wicked grin, the tips of his fangs, which were odviously VERY permanent, jutting over his lower lip. Slowly he walked towards her, watching the mortals scammer down the path, cursing under their breath. He circled her several times, not saying a single word. Before stopping infront of her, taking a step back and bowing before her extending his hand. In his hand was a single perfect red rose.
"A lovely rose for a lovely ladey, I am called Tamas."

"Another member of the night, you're the third I've met. I am known as Kharma."
*She steps back, looks him up and down, then circles him. She looks around to make sure no mortals are approaching them, then looks back at him.*
Reply by Matthew Johns on August 25, 2009 at 3:29pm Delete Tamas just chucked looking himself up and down for a moment. "What this isnt the style any more?" He couldnt help but laugh, noting the humor of the situation. "I stopped trying to fit in a long time ago, many of the things I am use to are no longer practiced. Just like it was unheard of for a lady to be unaccomponied anywhere outside of her own home." He grinned holding his arm out to her. "Do me the honor of letting me escort you this night, and giving me the chance to make me your favorate of those three?" He grinned wickedly, that gypsy glimmer in his eye behind his mirrored glasses.

True the Cherokee were peacful people, but since she had spent most of her life as a kindred she had not considered herself a lady for some time.*
"Lady huh? You don't know me very well."
*She runs a hand through her black hair, stoping as she gets to the feathers that hang off of her braid. She looks in his eyes, then takes his arm.*
"Well this will make for an interesting night...you say that you stopped trying to fit in a long time ago, how long are we talking about?"
Reply by Matthew Johns on August 25, 2009 at 3:51pm Delete Tamas just chuckled. "I come from a society where the women were just as able as the men, and often more cunning and viscious, manipulative traders, and would fight tooth and nail to protect their familys, so say what you want, at the end of the night, when you lie down in that dark room, inbetween satin sheets, your still a lady. And as for my age, well, i can honestly say i have forgotten the exact year, but i can remember news of the finding of the new world spreading across europe, i have dined with SEVERAL generations of english nobility, and i even remeber a little of the dark ages, if that puts things in perspective. What about you, and I am sure you have guessed i represent the clan of the gypsies, i cant quite tell though, wether you are driven, by the beast or by passion...."
Reply by Lauren McMenimen on August 25, 2009 at 4:09pm Delete *She almost blushes when he mentions the satin sheets, thinking that she had only slept in a bed twice in her life. When he mentions the new world she tenses up for a moment, then reminds herself that she cannot hold anyone responsible for what happened to her mortal people, it was meant to be. She listens intently as he speaks and smiles when as he tries to figure out her clan.*
"I was embraced in the 1890's, I saw what happened to the new world as Europeans built their cities, the wars between the white man and the natives of the new world, the several presidents who made promises but never kept them... For my mortal people it started with Nunna daul Tsuny - the trail of tears."
*She looks around once again, mainly to avoid looking in his eyes. She had been strong for so long, yet talking to this man brought a saddness to her that she was afraid her eyes would reveal.*
"As far as my clan, I could just tell you, but what would the fun in that be?"
Reply by Matthew Johns on August 25, 2009 at 4:20pm Delete Tamas listens in silence, working very hard to keep his emotionless face as she talked. His mind drifting back to the 1890's, remebering, supplying weapons to the US goverment to assist with the very thing she talked about. He had been trading guns for as long as he could remember, and he had seen first hand what his actions caused, but i was always on a larger scale, watching a village burn, reading about an area being gunned down, but in all his years, never actually talked to an individual person who was a victim of his actions, and if he had, he had put a very good mental block on it. Tamas quickly gave a soft smile, stearing the conversation a different direction.
"Indeed, fun must be had at times like this. We will make it a game. Though every game must have prizes." His eyes looking her over as he says the word prizes.
