Thread: A Little Meeting (Attn: Izabella Only; April 5th)

** Izabella enters the building and looks around. She is wearing a simple dark blue dress, her blonde hair sits on her shoulders.**

Hello Kalie, How are you have evening? May I sit?

She is smiling and her cheeks are rosey red.

"Yes of course, please."

Kalie smiles as she sits down.

"I don't believe we have been formally introduced. I am Kalie of the clan Brujah. It is a pleasure to meet with you."

** Izabella smiles and extends her hand.**

"We have not formally met but I know who you are, Kalie. I am Izabella Black of Clan Tremere."

As she sits, "Mr. Boone had told me that you wanted to talk to me about something. What is it that I can aid you with?"

Kalie shakes her hand and waits for her to sit down before continuing.

"As you probably know I am working with Mr. Pius and your clan's Revered on some research for the Prince. In the course of that research some information relayed to the table was said to come from an encounter with the Great Prairie Spirit. I inquired further of Mr. Pius about the context of the encounter to have a greater grasp of what the Spirit might have meant in that instance, but he stated he did not know any more facts beyond what he had given.

It is my hope that perhaps you can provide me with the context I seek."

** She sits and crosses her legs**

"Yes indeed, Mr. Boone and Pius have told me such. Well, as for the spirits of the prairie, I first spoke to them the evening of the battle. I called upon them to aid us in the battle and they did. They were really happy to help us that evening. They were tired of the evil that lay and wait. They also told me when I asked that form of evil was no more but evil is never truly gone. That manifestation would, in time, become something else."

**Izabella pauses so Kalie can catch up if she is taking notes.**

"I have heard that many people ask how do we know if the spirits were not lying or maybe is evil as well? I have the ability to tell both and they are not evil nor were they lying. They told me that it is very important that we stop the Seals from being broke. They also said that a tome was an important role in the research of the Seals. One thing the Great Spirit also said was that there are six people trying to break the Seals. I am sure you have heard this already from Mr. Boone and Pius."

**Again she waits**

"Do you mind if I ask you are question? What infromation do you have about the carnival?"

OOC: Sorry for the wait Jen I had thought I had posted this yesterday.

Kalie does in fact take notes as Izabella speaks. When the Warlock asks about the carnival, she stops and flips through several pages until she gets to those particular notes.

"I do not know much. It seems very few in fact do. The city was unaware of the seals at that point and so little investigation was done at the time into the matter. However, what my research has uncovered is that it was a traveling event that came to Lamar during August of 2009. It stayed one week and then it left. According to the local kine newspaper, on the night of the carnival's departure there was a fire that appeared to hang in the sky over the area the carnival had been sitting on. After the fact reports revealed the entire earth of that area had been scorched black.”

Kalie looks up to Izabella, “I believe it an obvious attempt to cover up something that someone didn’t want to be found. If indeed this was the first seal to be broken, than perhaps it was Joseph’s attempting to cover his tracks should any of us were to investigate.”

Kalie pauses a moment and then adds, "You said there were six individuals that were trying to break the seals? I do not believe I have heard this at all. Do we have any indication who these six might be?"

OOC - No worries that is ok.

"Oh, I am sorry. I thought you would have heard about that by now. The Spirits said that, "One serving evil, Three serving themselves and two will show up later to fight."

Izabella smiles again.

"We all believe that Joseph is the one serving evil. We are still looking into the other three as of now."

Izabella frowns at the scorched area,
"The earth spirits were in great pain that evening. Something of great evil was brought into the world at that site. Its presence there scar the earth and the spirits."

"That is one area which I must defer to you and your clan. I know very little when it comes to spirits and such."

Kalie closes her notebook.

"Did you have any other questions of me?"
