Thread: Notice! All should read!!

Ash walks up to the posted announcement, reads it and shakes his head. Pulling out his phone he dials Amanda's number.

"Amanda, dear, please call me as soon as possible. I wish to speak to you about a meeting of the families that you seem to have missed last night. It seems that when unannounced meetings come up we are expected to know of them ahead of time so we can attend or we are being negligent."

Ash hangs up the phone and walks over to one of the couches. He takes a seat on one of the couches and waits for Amanda to call him back or another of the Kindred to come in so that he might question them about the previous nights activities.

Droz walks in and reads the notice, laughing a bit when he reads the rose part.

Amanda returns the call after a few minutes, "Hello? Yea, I was unaware that there was a meeting. My apologies, dear brother. Shall we meet to discuss this further?"

Assuming Ash accepts the meeting, Amanda will join him at the Elysium. She takes a short curtsy when approaching her brother. "Seneschal" Amanda takes a seat neat her brother and waits for him to speak.

Lenore, passing through the Atrium, reads the notice and goes on about her business.

Ash looks up at Amanda with a odd look on his face. "Since when did you start calling me that? Am I to important now to still be Ash?" The last is delivered with a smirk on his face.

"So, I take it that the Primogen of the city feel that it the family of the Rose is not important enough to invite to the removal of the Harpy nor the election of a new Harpy. And then they wish to drag OUR names through the mud for not caring enough?" Ash speaks loud enough that those near could hear. "Do we know yet who called the meeting?"

Éamon walks in, notices Mr. and Ms. Winters and nods to them respectfully before reading the announcement. He shakes his head in disapproval as he reads the part about the Rose.

Poor choice of words indeed, perhaps they should have just stated that the representative from the rose left before the principle meeting was over?

As he turns to leave he walks over to Amanda and Ash, "Mr. and Ms. Winters, My apologies for the poorly choosen words of the one who wrote the notice. Would either of you happen to know who posted the notice?"

Ash smiles as Eamon walks up and stands, "I do believe, Mr. Amsel was the one to have posted the announcement, but the words do not ring in the ear as his. Would you perhaps know why the family of the Rose was not invited to so significant a meeting of our city's Primogen council, Mr. O Briain? It was a most grievous slight to have not been informed and then to publicly be scorned for not caring enough to attend to a meeting that we were unaware was even taking place."

Éamon glances over at Amanda then back to Ash, "I do not know why specificly Ms. Winters was not invited to the meeting, save the fact that she left the meeting called by the Prince prior to its conclusion. The meeting of the Primogen was called mear seconds after Prince Cahill announced the conclusion of the formal meeting. Perhaps the proper question given the events of the night ask is why Ms. Winters felt the need to leave before the Prince had concluded the meeting."
