Mackenzie walks out of the office and over the the Kindred announcement board. She tacks up a note and then walks back into the office, leaving the door open.
Many thanks to all who contributed to the cause in Brazil.
There were several that contributed with their physical presence
and in other ways as well. These are a few honorable mentions
for their assistance.
There are several who were given supplies by JTM
to help in the cause. As we are all aware that nothing
is for free, the following is a list of people who should
contact the supplier to arrange payment for the supplies
they procured. The others that obtained supplies have
already settled their debt. Any disputes of payment can
be discussed with the supplier.
Lydia walks in and looking around she finds the notices. After reading it she starts laughing and looks to find Mackenzie. Seeing her sitting in her office still laughing "Really? He really thinks I owe him for nothing? Oh my that is the best laugh I have had in a while thank you."
Walking over to the office door "I think you are doing a fine job as harpy. But this one time you were not given all the facts. I took nothing from JTM. I only took what was mine. I looked at what he brought but took nothing."
"If you would like I will take this up with him. I would be glad to show him the error of his ways."
"Due to JTM's breach of the second and fifth traditions in my home, I will be demanding compensation. I will consider lowering such demands as I did utilize two items that he brought. He may find them sitting below, in better condition than when first borrowed.
I believe this matter can be concluded with JTM owing me a Minor Boon for his insults. Should he continue on his most dangerous path, I will gladly accept further compensation. I hope the rest of his clan in this city do not follow his most deadly and ridiculous path.
Mackenzie looks towards the doorway when she hears laughter. She smiles as Lydia comes to the door of the office. She stops typing on her laptop and closes it. "I'm glad you were provided a good laugh."
She looks at her closely. "We are rarely given all the facts, isn't that right? No matter who you are." She shrugs. "I merely agreed to post the note for a fee with the information that was provided, which is why..." A grin starts to spread across her face. "the post says you can take up any disputes with the supplier, a.k.a. JTM."
Mackenzie looks out towards the doorway as she hears more people out there and then turns back to Lydia with a slight smile on her face. "Is there anything I can help you with or did you just wish to share your mirth with me?"
Lydia smiles at her, "No nothing I need. I appreciated the laugh."
Looking back to see others reading the note "I shall be taking this up with him and you are right. We are never told anything. It makes the job fun at times trying to figure it all out. I'll let you get back to work now."
She turns to leave.
