Thread: Honoring His Memory (Att: ALL) 6-16-10

Constantino enters the room. He is obviously still dressed in his mourning black. He looks up to Mackenzie and nods. Taking a pamphlet from the table, he heads towards a seat. Once he arrives he silently says a few prayers with his head bowed and eyes closed.

kendov enters slipping through the door and taking a seat at the back blankly staring at the flower arrangements

JD glances at Pius and Boone after watching Kalie leave her tribute and says,"If you'll excuse me for a moment, I didn't know the custom," he glances down at the chain and medalion in his hand, then moves forward to the urn again. Once he reaches it, he takes a knee before it and carefully drapes the twisted rope of bronze and silver about the top, leaving the medalion to hang at the front of it.

Anyone looking sees a bronze seal, like the precursors to signet rings, that shows two quill pens forming the round boarder, a hand held flat facing up with a flame the shape of a horses head hovering over the palm and over that a simple crown. The entire thing looks amazingly old though well tended, some edges and lines simply worn away with time. The craftsmanship is obviously ancient though of quality.

JD closes his eyes and reaches his hand out in great reverence, only the barest tips of his fingers touching the urn. His lips move in some silent devotion or benediction for a full minute. Once he is done, JD stands and bows as if to a king. He steps back one step, then another, then he turns and walks back to his seat near Pius with a certain dignity and grace.

Maddalena smiles and nods to Ash as she sits next to Cahill. The seat on the other side of her is empty, unless you can see the ghost of the small 7 year old girl in it.
"Good evening Mr. Winters."

She looks to the wraith sitting next to her and whispers in Italian. "Hush sister, best manners at funerals, you know that."
The ghost girl replies "And we'll play after? You promised we could play the game sister."
Maddalena replies quietly "Yes... Then we will play the game."
Maddalena looks back up solemnly at the urn and says quietly in English "Then we will find him and play the game..."

Logan walks in with Kalie, dressed simply in a black and white suit, his hair pulled into a pony tail, his shades hiding his eyes.

He nods as Kalie thanks Harpy Mackenzie and leans over to whisper to her as well. He pats her shoulder and smiles very slightly. "We will not forget this, Madam Mackenzie." He says softly before accompanying his sire toward the viewing area.

Logan stands a respectful distance from the Urn as Kalie approaches it and pays her homage to the dead. Logan stands patiently as several others stepped forward before he did. Finally able to approach the resting urn, Logan walks up almost reverently. He hums a few seconds and then leans down to speak to the Urn.

whispered> "ka dish day, chickasaw silaada. may you run in tall green grass, and always find shade and cool water"

He leans back up and moves back to Kalie's side before leading her to a quiet seat.

Emma arrives a few moments after Constantino, as if they had to travel to the location seperately. She is on the arm of another man tonight, an older looking gentlman with thin white hair. He is smiling warmly and wears a slightly anarchonistic suit with contrasting red tennis shoes of a practical nature. Emma, still in mourning for Kirsi, is dressed in a simple black dress of a 1950s cut. She nods to various kindred she knows and spares a small smile for Mr. Cahill and Maddalena before joining Constantino. Her guest sits politely beside them only giving a brief greeting to Don Giovanni.

Mr. Calhoun and Izabella Black arrive together. Izabella is wearing a long black dress with heels and Calhoun is wearing a similar suit. The two of them will walk slowly into the room and over to Mr. Cahill.

"Miss Maddalena, Bill... of course you both know Ms. Izabella Black... I'm happy to see you both but, sad it's under these circumstances."

Kalie watches as JD approaches the urn. Her features soften and her shoulders fall slightly. As he begins to walk away she closes her eyes and bows her head for many seconds. Only Logan's departure from her side draws her chin back up to observe his tribute.

As Emma and the older gentleman enter, she will give a small smile softly at Emma and will nod respectfully her greeting to the white-haired man.

Corin nods to people as they enter, and watches everything that goes on.

Jaysin wearing dark, hunter green shirt, black pants and black combat boots. Jaysin sees quite a few people and takes a seat at a pew in the far back by the door and waits, watches, listens and mourns.
