Thread: Honoring His Memory (Att: ALL) 6-16-10

A.J. sits and watches the proceedings void of emotion. The anger for the loss of such a good man fueling him. Something inside of him told him it just wasn't right for him to be there any longer. He stood and mouthed something as he stared at the urn from across the room. No audible sound came from him, he just mouthed the words, and then left the services without a nod or a look to anyone.

((OOC: Assuming that Ash comes up))

Mackenzie talks with Kalie off to the side for a moment and shows her something. She then nods to everyone gathered around. "Thank you all again for coming. Eric gave me his will before he went to Brazil. He did not ask for it back when he returned and I don't think anyone expected it would need to be executed so quickly."

She holds up the index cards in her hands. "These cards are written the words in his will as well as a description of what he gave you. The actual items will have to be arranged through the Brujah clan as the items were not given to me."

She looks at Ash and hands him an index card. "He wanted you to have this." She hands an index card which has written on it the following: Ash Winters, your talks with me were business affairs, but I trusted you with something important. And you came through for an unknown Kindred and for this you have my everlasting respect. As well as my copy of Origin of the Species by Charles Darwin and a map to the resting place of Europe's greatest treasure.

She looks at Pius. "He wanted you to have this." The index card states: Pius, we have started looking at the world anew and because of this I wish for you to have this (see picture in albums). The Persians once looked at the world of science anew and I felt this suiting.

She looks at Eamon. "He wanted you to have this." The index card states: Eamon, our talks were a pleasure for me. It is rare to find someone who looks at the world similarly. So I wish for you to have my telescope given to me so many years ago and my copy of Tsun Zhu's Art of War.

She turns to Kalie and hands her an index card. "This has the copy of what stays with the clan and what pieces belong to the museum. Please will you take care of this?"

Ash approaches Mackenzie with the others. Taking the index card he reads it and a small chuckle escapes his lips. "Thank you for this Mackenzie." Turning towards the earn he gives a small salute with the card. "And to you as well, Mr. Brumman." The mirth there a moment before fading quickly.

Turning back to Mackenzie, "It was a beautiful service, Mackenzie. Thank you."

Looks to the gift.

"It is wonderful. Thank you. I have just the place for this. The service was great, thank you for hosting it."

Kalie reads the index card and nods. She will address the gathered group, "If you will give me directions on method of delievery I will see that these items are brought to you."

Éamon studies at the card for a moment and smiles, "Rather fitting given the conversations we had shared."

Éamon glances up from the card to Kalie, "Aye, please just call me when you have a moment later and we can make suitable arrangements." He looks at the others briefly, "If you all will excuse me I unfortunately have some other matters to attend to this evening."

Éamon turns and leaves without saying another word.

Izabella sees that most of the gathering is leaving. She looks to Calhoun as he talks.
