Thread: The long lonely walk home

Chris is following her, he's not trying to hide his presence, though he might as well have been for he was a good half block behind her.

He is wearing his usual clothes, but is tan jacketed tonight. If one were to get close, they could see he wasn't himself, his eyes a glassy black, and body void of any sign of emotion.

maharet slows her pace as she feels destroyed and broken and like a river behind a dam all her feeling blocked by rules and dogmas of the cityshe longed for her beloved jaysin but he was gone forever ,just like coctaeu her haert was beaking like glass in a mirror . she needed to talk to somebody

she stops looks back twords the elysium and to Chris standing there waiting for him to join her .

Chris slows his steps as he catches up, becoming quieter. He does not speak as he stands by Maharet, he does not know what he would say, he had seen enough people die that he didn't know how to truely react when it was a friend. He did know that Maharet was taking this hard, so he was there, a willing shoulder for her to cry on.
He just stares at her with his black eyes, waiting for her to speak or else continue walking.

maharet holds out her hand with a look of extreme pain and sever loose on her face beconing hin to join her and turns an slowly staarts to walk on down the street

Chris begins walking, following her, he continues to remain silent, even if she doesn't talk, he'll feel better if she gets to her destination safely

she contuned walking and thinking about how it just wasnot fair why her man why now when they were so close in achiving their wedding
at lest Chris was here and he was a great comfert to her
