Eric entered the museum wearing a smile on his face. It was the first time he had had a chance to visit the place. He had decided he would bring his sketch pad and pencils in the event that he had found something inspiring to draw on in his own art. He wasn't there to draw images of another's work of art but to create new art, drawing inspiration from other's passion.
He wasn't they typical looking artist that might come here to be inspired. Sure his tattoos may have been something other artists would wear, but he was also wearing stonewash blue jeans, a button up flannel shirt and a straw cowboy hat on his head. Some of the people present even gave him double takes as he wandered around. He browsed the different pieces of art throughout the building only stopping when his eyes came to rest on the person sitting on the bench. He had seen them at the Kitty Kat Klub a few nights before.
He was curious about this individual as they were at a kindred party and she was a guest with a heartbeat. He took a seat off to the side but where he could observe them. His sense focused on them, he began reading the details of their features closely while trying to remain a bit nonchalant. For a man, there were certain things about this person that didn't add up. The high cheekbones, lack of Adam's apple. The feminine features. It was in these abnormalities that he had found the inspiration he was looking for.
He opened his sketchpad and grabbed a pencil and began working. As he drew he felt a little restricted by the tight flannel shirt so he unbuttoned them and rolled up the sleeves. He then removed the cowboy hat from his head and set it beside him to allow for good vision and lighting on his sketch pad. He continuously worked on the drawing, his eyes moving from the pad to the person from the other night. Occasionally a strand of his long brown hair falling in his face, he'd move it back behind his ear, giving him the opportunity to look at the person again.
