Alex enters the Atrium, and reads the newest notes. "Oh. . . my. How wonderful!" He laughs as he takes a seat near Simon. "My friend, I hope you are well?"

Dear One and All:
I am to understand that there some people who are not pleased that I am throwing a party. For this reason we as a family have decided to cancel our party and attend Sabre's at the lake. It should be a fun filled Neverland themed night for which all can enjoy! I hope to see you all there, EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE is invited. Should be a wonderful time. And I am told it is BYOB, so feel free to come out, enjoy and please feel free to show up in your Neverland themed Costumes!

Simon walked by the notice as he wandered the halls of the Elysium seeking company for the evening and stopped to read it.
"It seems that Mr. Cross has come to the conclusion that he is not well liked around these parts. I guess it stands to reason that a failed leader of the city should not find to many friends left over."
Simon will then glance in the direction of Sabre's garishly colored notice.
"I wonder how this will sit with him. I am pretty sure he was trying to make a statement against Mr. Cross and now it seems that same personage is attempting to take his party over to their own benefit. The fireworks over this should be quite enjoyable to watch."
Simon will take a seat and wait patiently for any other members of the city to see the notice and find out their reactions.
Alex enters the Atrium, and reads the newest notes. "Oh. . . my. How wonderful!" He laughs as he takes a seat near Simon. "My friend, I hope you are well?"
Simon will stand at Alex's entrance and extend his hand.
"I am doing quite well tonight night. It looks like fireworks may be about to begin and it seems we find ourselves with a front row seat. I do hope that Mr. Sabre and Mr. Cross do not disappoint us."
Maddalena walks into the Atrium with a quiet dignity. She holds in her left hand a rose that looks like it is days old and a slightly battered party hat in her right hand. She walks over to where Simon and Alex are sitting, reads the note posted by Cross, sighs and shakes her head. She sits down without a word.
Simon notices Maddalena enter the room and will stand at her presence. He quirks his eye at the items she holds in her hands, but puts it down to her family. After she is seated he will sit down as well.
"Good Evening, Maddalena. I hope the evening finds you well." Factoring in her accouterments condition and her silence he doubts this is the situation, but etiquette dictated this response. "Please join us this evening. We have read the same notice that you just just did. How far the mighty have fallen. Though I expected more out of Mr. Cross in trying to rebuild his reputation. To give up without even putting up a fight for said reputation does not strike me as the movements of a well seasoned player in this game."
Maddalena turns to Simon and tilts her head as if trying to process what he has just said. "If he is friends with all then he is no longer outcast. Then he can begin to build again. But his game is of little concern to me at this time. There is a much larger much more dangerous game being played. Do you consider yourself a well seasoned player, Mr. Thibideaux?"
Cicero slowly enters the Elysium and notices those gathered - as well as the note on the Elysium wall. He stares at the other Kindred for a moment, issuing neither verbal nor gestured greeting - only staring oddly, before finally stalking over to the piece of paper. He examines it for a moment and looks back those gathered,
"Am I to understand that Kindred will be gathered around a remote lake, bedecked in fanciful childrens' story costumes?"
Cicero's head veers like a snakes as his cold blue eyes look directly upon Maddalena. His words roll calmly in a non-accusatory manner, that does not fit the words of his following statement
"I am not sure what sort of madness you are inciting - but this should truly be a sight to behold."
Cicero stares at Maddalena for several moments as if truly confounded, before maneuvering his way to a seat nearby his brethren.

A minute flicker of shock crosses Simon's face at the abrupt change of subject, but he instantly recovers. "An interesting question, Ms. Scatallia," noting the more formal use of his name. "I have played my part in the game over the years. I have risen to power and been stripped of such in my time. I do know the intricacies of it. I do not have the years of practice that some of our older colleges may have, but I feel that I can hold my own at this point."
Alex smiles and stands as the Seneschal enters. He takes his seat after she joins them. "A pleasure to see you again, my friend." He listens to her conversation with Simon. When Cicero enters, Alex speaks again. "Cicero! Please join us."
Simon will turn his attention from Maddalena's question for a moment to acknowledge Cicero's entrance with a nod and then turn back to his conversation.
