Kalie walks through the museum on her way back to the 'kindred only' section, when she sees the new gangrel. She pauses slightly to recall the new arrival's name. When it comes to her, she approaches him.
"Good evening, Kendov."
kendov moved slowly through the museums interior his footsteps softly padding through the antiquities of time, it still never failed to impose on him the amount of change that had passed since his human life had ended. had humans come this far? his sire was right when he spoke of the doom that cities would bring the world and from the look of it he was right.
slowly kendov moved back through antiquities in both mind and body.
Kalie walks through the museum on her way back to the 'kindred only' section, when she sees the new gangrel. She pauses slightly to recall the new arrival's name. When it comes to her, she approaches him.
"Good evening, Kendov."
kendov turns noticing the arrival of another kindred. with a slight bow he moves over
" hello madam primogen you are well this evening ?" he asks his slow english taking its time
Kalie's eyes quickly glance around to see if there are any nearby before returning back to Kendov. "I am well this night. How are you?"
" i am well considering the conditions of the gangrel. i thought to stir ideas i would look over the events i have slept through "
he sighed pointing at a exhibit of renissance paintings " there is much, like this here that i do not understand the few years i have been awake have been just learning the camarilla's law " his broken english taking a few more moments than usual as he stumbled over a few of the words
Kalie cringes as Kendov uses compromising languages in a part of the museum where kine ears can possibly overhear. Glancing around she looks once again to see if anyone might have overheard them.
Hushing her voice to a whisper she leans in closer to the grangel.
"It would be wise to learn words that do not compromise folks like us. The one who leads promises dire consequences to those and the family of those that do compromise."
Kalie looks to his eyes to see if there is understanding there.
kendov nods for a moment catching her meaning " ah yes excuse my loose tounge. i have a tendancy to forget that we are not the power anymore. they are more numerous than we. " he moves slowly twords the next exihbit " in my day we did not have to worry of these things. it is saddening to see how far we have fallen "
Kalie's countenance reflects sadness as she glances at the next exhibit. She studies it for a bit in silence before speaking softly. It has been a long time since I just stopped and looked at such a beautiful piece of work.
"do we all lose so much to time? what is important to us washed away in the face of what politics our kind deal in. " he snarls a bit biting back more contempt for the jyhad and its workings insead he looks to the brujah " is there anything i may help you with ? or where you just strolling tonight?"
OOC: Sorry Joe I got hit by the flu, but I am back now.
IC: As the elder speaks of losses, Kalie's eyes narrow as if she was intensely studying the painting. However, her slowly clinching fists tells another tale.
His question to her seems to pull her from her thoughts and her fists unclench. "Oh uhm..." She looks towards the stairs. "I was looking to see who all might be here tonight."
