Thread: Dealings (ATTN: Ash, Lydia, JTM, Benjamin, 01.04.10)

Lydia walks in wearing a black dress and heels. She sees Amanda and Ash and walks over to them with a smile. "Sorry if I am late. I did try to hurry.

JTM staggers into Elysium. He is wearing his usual biker combat gear. He walks in with a six pack, surveying the room. He walks up to the three present here.

Great! The fucking three stooges! This oughta be good.

“You rang?”

He sets his beer down on the table, pulling one out and opening it, taking a sip.

Was already standing in the presence of Lydia as JTM walks in the room. Amanda could smell the booze pouring off hos breath, causing her to flinch. She takes a moment to attempt to calm herself. She succeeds minorly. Amanda moves to where nothing is separating them, this was no coincidence. She places her knuckles down on the the table.

"You 'will' stand up. Right now. You 'will' greet Lydia properly. Or things are going to get bad." Amanda says gritting her teeth. She then stands up straight and gives him a very powerful expression.

Ash tenses at his sister's words. His thoughts had led him to the same reaction, but he had decided against it as it would be counteractive to the negotiations to come. He hangs back to watch how the scene would play out for the moment.

JTM stares back at Amanda seeing the knuckles on the table. He hadn’t really come here for a fight, least of all from Amanda. He reaches in for another bottle of beer and hands it to Lydia.

“Oh my bad. Forgot my manners there for a sec. Here you go Lydia. How ya doing this evening? Everything cool?”

He raises the bottle to Lydia.

“Cheers. Thanks for reminding me, Amanda. You both can have a beer if you want one too.”

He turns to Lydia, completely ignoring Amanda in his face.

“Ladies first. Let me get that for ya, Lydia.”

He stands waiting for Lydia to sit down first, ready to get the chair for her too.

Lydia looks at JTM, then slowly smiles. "thank you JT. It is nice to see you use some manners. I like good manners." Taking the beer glances from JTM to Amanda wondering if he takes the hint.

"Ash, would you care for a drink? I am sure he has plenty" Moving to Sit down she smiles and waits.

Benjamin enters the Elysium, wearing his usual loose-fitting clothing under a black wool coat. He walks in as JTM speaks, smiling at the effort he is making.

"Sorry I am late, my friends."

Ash turning to Lydia, "Thank you, but no. I would not choose to treat our Elysium as some common bar." Ash tries to keep the sneer out of his voice as best as possible.

Upon, the Colonels approach Ash turns and nods to him. "We are pleased you could come, Colonel." Ash smiles to Benjamin as wheels start turning in his head. Did Amanda invite him? Or Lydia?

"It is good that we can all gather together. Won't everyone be seated." Ash will move another chair over for the Colonel and then takes a seat near his sister.

Noticing the anger in Ash, Lydia puts her hand on his arm and in a soft voice "Ash, that is just his way. He is making nice." Smiling she turns to JTM, "thank you but I don't believe he would like any."

When the Colonel arrives and apologizes for being late, Lydia turns to him with a smile "Well this is turning out to be quite a gathering."

"Amanda dear, you did not tell me you invited Benjamin. What a pleasant surprise."
