As Horacio walks aroung the museum he sees something that catches his eye. He walks into a room filled with african art pieces and paintings. His mind wanders to a different time as he looks around. Horacio takes a seat on a bench in the middle of the room and lets his memories flow back to him.
Boone is walking briskly by the African section on his way elsewhere when the presence in that room catches his attention. He slows and enters the African exhibit.
Horacio sees the new person walk in but pays him no mind as he loses himself in a particular piece of art. He stares at a large painting of a lion lurking in the weeds looking as if it's staring back at him.
She turns her head, noticing Boone walking on, as she does her arm slips off of Horacio's shoulder. She follows Boone with her eyes, waiting to see where he goes.
Horacio seems almost like stone as Corin puts her hand on his shoulder, not breaking eye contact with the painted predator. "Yes, my dear. It certainly does." As Corin's hand sides off he takes the cue and looks in that direction with his one eye.
Boone proceeds to the Native American section, jots down some notes in a small notebook, after examining a few items, and returns the notebook to an inner pocket. He turns and leaves the museum, nodding to Corin on his way out.
She turns back and looks at Horacio, for the first time their eyes meet. She turns her head, moving forward, looking at the painting of the lion. She turns a little bit, not towards Horacio, but towards Boone.
She moves off a little bit, not wanting Horacio to notice too much where she is going.
Once the stranger walks away Horacio looks up at Corin and pats the seat next to him. "Have a seat." Horacio begins looking around the room as he says to Corin "You ever regret it? You know...letting me embrace you?"
