Thread: Calling Pius (Attn: Pius)

Mackenzie was determined not to let Corin out of her sight. She follows Corin to the museum at a distance and does not close the gap until Corin enters.

"Is Pius coming?" Mackenzie asked quietly as she looks around the museum. The building was beautiful, if only she was here purely to observe the surroundings.

She looks at Mackenzie, still holding the phone up to her ear. She shruggs her shoulders, and waits for an answer.

"It's ringing."

There is a beep and Corin quickly leaves a voicemail.

"Pius, my name is Corin, I was given your number by Benjamin. I need help with something and was told that you might be willing to help. You can call me back at this number (XXX) XXX-XXXX. I await your call."

With that she hangs up the phone then looks Mackenzie in the eyes.

"Not willing to let me go out by myself huh?"

A.J. wanders into the elysium quietly wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and again the straw cowboy hat he'd worn the other night in the Park. The elysium was one place he knew he could go and meet new faces and not have to worry about only being tolerated. As he walked in he noted Mackenzie talking to another attractive woman. He gives her a nod but doesn't approach, choosing to admire some of the artwork instead, so he wouldn't be interrupting if they were engaged in a private conversation.

Mackenzie gives Corin a blank look. "No."

She turns as another person enters. Recognizing him she smiles in his direction, "Hey, A.J."

She looks back at Corin and says quietly, "I guess you definately aren't alone now."

She looks at Mackenzie, "Well I appreciate it. I am sure you have questions you want answered." She then nods towards the new guy. "Who is that?"

A.J. inclines his head again to Mackenzie and says, "Hello again Mackenzie."

Mackenzie continues to give Corin a blank look and states quietly. "I don't expect any answers from you. For most people I can say that your past is your past. In your case, your past is interfering with the present. It's interfering with our clan. I'm not going to let you run around alone with what's going on for your sake and our clan's sake." She nods to the man she greeted. "His name is A.J. and he's new to town and one of our clan. He's talked with Kendov and is tolerated for now."

Turning to A.J., "It nice to see you again."

"My past is no longer interfering with the clan. It is my present that is doing so. I do not believe that someone from my past is the one attacking my mind. I think it's someone here, in this city. I broke from my past, but the voice knows what I once was. I will not let whoever the voice belongs to get to you, or any other of the clan."

She hears the name AJ, and turns around quickly, she thought he looked familiar, but now knows where from...a sabbat hunter...someone that had once hunted her when she was sabbat. She mutters under her breath.

"Shit...did he track me here, or is this just dumb luck?"

Mackenzie raises an eyebrow at Corin and watches to see A.J.'s reaction.
