Thread: Tending to the Zoo (Attn: Any who travel the Zoo)

Gregory strolls along the path between the cages thinking about the interesting history this city has.

Otto has one of those faces that is difficult to remember with a relatively worn looking coat all but concealing his white shirt and the suspenders that hold up his black pants. He is currently looking over one of the large herd animals display, his presence does not seem to bother them unduly.

"Looks like you guys are starting to grow your coats for the winter" he seems to say to one of buffalo. It doesn't give any indication of understanding him as it goes about it's herbivore like business.

Gregory glances around and notices a figure standing before one of the displays. "Wonder who this is", he thinks and withdraws to the shadows to watch.(Obfuscate 2)

After a time, the non descript man makes his way along the path towards the next exhibit. He fumbles with his cell phone to see what time it is, "Hm, 10 o'clock" he nods to himself, it would appear it was more a curiosity then him being in a hurry to be elsewhere.

Neither the small birds, who attempt to sneak discarded food, nor the puffy tailed tree rats, who seem intend on preparing for the coming months, seem bothered by this mans passing.

He continues his stroll.

Gregory follows along quietly for a little while then carries on about his business.

The unremarkable man does seem to be on the fast track towards excitement, provided you enjoy watching someone talk to animals without much reciprication on the animals part.

Ultimately it would appear he is just biding time until the zoo officials wander over to kick him out of the park for the day. He checks his watch. "10:30.... time sure does fly" he wanders on to the next exhibit meandering through the park at a pace a snail would be envious of.

*Kharma enters the scene wearing a black tank top, blue torn jeans, feathers in her hair, sunglasses, and Sabre's fedora. She walks down the path moving from animal to animal, smiling at them. It had seemed like just a couple days ago that she had met Dominic and heard about his zoo, so she believed that this would be the one place she could feel his spirit.

Anytime someone would come close to where she was she would stop peaking to the animals, not wanting to attract attention.*

Otto will eventually notice Kharma and wander in her direction, he waits until she notices him to give her a smile. Though he pauses a moment before making a final approach, trying to gauge her reaction.

Baring a gesture that indicates she wishes to be alone, he says to her "I have heard something about your loss and I wanted to give my condolenses"

*She notices someone walking up out of the corner of her eye and turns to see who it is. When Otto smiles at her she nods, and watches him. She then smiles to let him know that it is okay to approach her, and as he does she turns back to the animals and starts to speak to them again.*

"Well my friends, I will see what I can do for you. It is time for me to move on to the next group."

*She writes something down on a piece of paper then turns towards Otto when he speaks to her. Her eyes shift to the ground a moment, then she looks back at him.*

"Thank you."

*She looks around to see if there are any mortals around. When she doesn't see any she continues on talking to him.*

"Unfortunately the loss of the clan is greater than my own, and as their primogen I do have to take that into consideration as I lead them now."

*She takes a few steps, then looks back at Otto.*

"I have not seen you for a while. Business or pleasure?"
