A Night At the Zoo (8/24 Attn Domnic/Zoo goers) Written by Bob
Otto wanders the zoo, a relaxing walk among the exhibits dodging what little security is present he makes his way to one of the ponds. He relaxes against the fense as he watches a couple swans out for a moonlit swim.
He is here to find Dominic, but is in no hurry. Enough has happened the last few days that a few moments or relaxation are in order in any case.

Dom knelt down by the edge of the pond and began speaking to the swans. Moments later he begins walking around the exibit, checking thing out. With everything being in order, He made his way out.
Moments later he comes out of the back. "Otto?" He stops with his cart. There is a well groomed, headless teddy bear sits on it. "Just here to see the animals?"
Otto nods "Mostly, nice and peaceful, I've been getting in touch with the inner critter lately, and there is only so much Rat chatter I can take...." he smiles "They sure are pretty, I was wondering why they were out there at night" he gestures to the swan in the water "Guess you being around answers the question. " he makes to walk along with Dom, not wanting to get in the way of his work "How are things on your end?"

"I guess you hadn't heard. I had a little outburst towards Alayna about a week ago. I kinda figured people wouldn't want me around for insulting the Princes latest pet."
Dom stops the cart and takes a seat. "Most of the animals wake up for their nightly visits."
Otto nods when you mention the animals waking up, it seems more interesting to him then the 'political' scene. "Oh, that makes sense. I've been trying to understand them better, obviously how they act here in the zoo is different then in what passes as 'the wild' around here. I've been trying to catch an armidillo prior to them getting hit by a car, but for some reason it seems like the only ones around are already dead....." he shrugs "not as earth shaking as some of your issues, but I thought I would stop by here and chat with a captive one, maybe get insights into it's wild brethren".
He continues to chat "Yeah, I admit, I'm lucky and haven't had much problems with any of my brothers...still... you've been in the city longer....mind if I ask why you aren't the primogen for your clan....if it's too personal, I understand" by the way Otto asks this, he seems like he is just being there as a person to chat with, not so much interested in digging too deep.

"I'm not political enough, plus Alayna is much older than I am. Or at least I'm lead to believe she is." Dom shrugs. "I'm sheriff at the moment, any way and we thought it would be better as a family to not have all the power in one place."
Dom begins to think for a moment. "I don't believe we have any here. If we do I've never had to deal with them. Oh but I do have in interesting fact. Did you know that Armadillos carry leprosy? Just a little heads up before you go playing with them."
Otto chuckles "I don't think I have to worry about that in my condition, but no, I didn't know that, though I haven't heard much about leper colonies anymore so it can't be too much of a problem" he nods "Oh well, I can dig them up easily enough, just seemed strange I hadn't seem them around recently, at least when I had the time to look for them...."
Otto "I plan to increase my ability to work with animals, one of the possibilities was to be able to inhabit their bodies.....do you know if the process harms them at all?"

Dom chuckles to himself a bit. "Harm them no, some don't appreciate it though." He begins to look around at some of the animals. "I personally work out something with them in advance. They have wants and needs just like any other living thing. I provide for them, and they provide for me. I'm sure you understand."
Otto nods "Yeah, I'm not about forcing people do do anything, and as I've come to see it, animals are people too. Well, now that they aren't on the menu at least"
Otto glances around "Also looks like this place is doing pretty good, seems clean and well kept.... can you think of anything the Zoo may need to be....a better place for families to come"

Dom shrugs. "I don't know. I'm only here at night, and I really don't have anything to do with all of that. I'm sure any type of donations, or what ever would help. But that really isn't my department. I just take care of the animals."
