Dom look up to see the woman from the park. He crawls out from under the tiger, and watches it wander off in disappointment. He then walks up to the glass. "Just a moment, I'll come around."

He disappears into the back, and shortly there after come out from a pair of gray metal doors with a cart. On the cart is the teddy bear she gave to him. The bear is cleaned up and the neck is sutured shut. "What can I do for you Maddalena?" He smiles at her.

She peers at the bear looking very confused. She reaches out as if she's going to touch it but stops short and wipes her hands on her dress. She shakes her head. "Well, you have just answered my first question. But this is important. The ripples, they're moving backward through the water. I need to tell you that when you give the bear to Stan, in addition to what I told you to tell him, tell him that I am to take any punishment he may think to give you. I do not anticipate that he will consider giving punishment, but in light of recent events he may be a little aggitated. Do you understand?" She seems quite aggitated herself at this point. She inspects Dom with concern and worry. She reaches out her hand, wanting to touch his shoulder, but hesitating.

Dom steps up to her. Her hand no resting on him. "Whats wrong Maddy. Garfield and I play like that all the time. As for Stan, I know he's not going to have anyone harmed. I spoke to him just the other night. I had told him of my envolvement with the change in praxis, and it all seems to be fine." He caresses her cheek, and allows his other had to rest on her hip.

She shivers and looks around as if someone might be watching. "Please, promise me you will not fail to say those words as well when you give him the bear." She looks back up into his eyes, worry in her own. "Please. I would not want to think of the countless endings if you did not."

"Maddy, I am capable of taking care of myself." He hold her for a moment, bring her head to rest on his chest. "I see how important it is to you. So I will tell him, just as you wish."

He lets loose of her and takes her hands in his. "Was that the only reason you sought me out?" The mischevious smile from the other night returned to his face.

She steps back, looking around and then shaking her head. "I am a widow. You must approach with caution. I cannot betray my husband's memory. Remember that." She looks sad and uncertain. Perhaps it is because of the memory of her husband or perhaps it is because she doesn't want to be cautious. "Please do not ask too much of me at this time. I can barely keep the thoughts in a line right now. So many things happening right now." she shakes her head as if to clear a thought away. She looks around again, almost nervously.

"I was only implying that most people have not taken the time to actually seek me out. I will also admit there is something about you that seems to draw me in." The smile has completely gone from his face. "I could never expect you forget, or disreguard the memory of your husband. He wouldn't have been such if there wasn't something special about him." Dom's head has fallen and his voice is very quiet.

Maddalena looks very confused now and almost unsure about how to proceed. "No, do not regret a man you never knew. That is my duty. I do have a care for what happens to you, but I am still too new here to tie you to me." She looks around again and leans forward slightly as her voice lowers to a whisper. "The others do not seek you out because they do not see the Truth. They do not know what you are. But they will."

"The Truth?" The confusion is evident in his voice. His eyes begin to race back and forth. "The Truth of who I am. The Truth of *what* I am!"

Dom looks up at her. "What if I'm not exactly sure of the Truth of what I am?"
