Thread: Lydia finds Kale

Kalie's eyes had been fixed upon the picture window that looked into the VIP section of the club; however, as the Harpy approaches her eyes will drift to hers.

"Good evening, Madam. Would you care to join me?"

Smiling as she sits down, "Yes I believe I will join you for a bit."

Taking a drink she looks around then back to Kalie "So anything new and exciting going on?"

"Oh you know me. I am the last person in the world to know if anything new was happening around here."

Kalie takes a drink of her stout and leans back a bit.

Laughing Lydia takes another drink. "I do want to take this chance and say thank you for responding to my text the other night"

Leaning forward "Surely they don't keep you out of the loop on the happenings in the city?"

Kalie chuckles, "I must admit I was surprised at receiving your text. I didn't even realize that you had my number."

Looking at the table, and a bit embarrassed. "Well, when I was at JTM's he left the room and I was bored so I went through his phone. Sorry"

Looking back at her " I am glad now that I did. If it were not for you and your family I might not be here. Thank you"

"Is that your valuation of our sacrifice? I am sure the one who speaks for my family would be in favor of accepting such acknowledgement if it is." Kalie smirks playfully yet there is a hint of cold truthfulness behind her eyes.

Anger shows on her face briefly as she leans forward then she smiles
"I will acknowledge the fact that your family did come to help. But I would not think it was to save me alone? Maybe the word Sabbat brought you all running?"

Sitting back and taking another drink "While I would like to think it was me, I am not that vain."

Pausing for a moment then she smiles just a bit "I am thinking a thank you would be well enough, but I see it in your eyes you are wanting to ask for more."

Leaning forward again "What is it Kalie? What is it that you desire? I know there is something, what is it?"

Kalie chuckles. "Relax. You and JTM are a lot a like, no wonder he speaks well of you." Kalie's eyes drift upward to glance into the VIP room then back to Lydia. "If you were to ask me for my witness of events than the situation was apparently contained before we got there. A thank you for us coming in a time of need would indeed be enough"

Kalie's eyes drop to the table and her hand take up the bottle of beer again. She starts to swirl it slowly on top of the table as she adds in a slightly hushed voice, "As to my wants and desires I shall keep that to myself until I see a time I can capitalize on them."

Kalie's eyebrows scrunch a bit before looking back at Lydia. "Though I would like to know why you chose my name to contact? Why not our lawman or JTM?"
