Thread: A Night Out (12-30-09 Attn: Anyone)

Massimo enters Club Indigo in with his usual style and proceeds to greet a few of the regulars who recognized him. Tonight he was dressed in a Pair of Dark Blue Jeans with a button up black shirt rolled up onto his forearms. As he looks about he noticed the girl from the other night when he was with Amanda.

How entertaining that little one was that night. One day i will have to reap what i have already planted.

As he saunters over to the bar he notices a man up in VIP whom he had never met. Such did not surprise them since Indigo was owned by the very Elusive Giovanni clan. Since his arrival in Lamar he had not met any of them but he had been told that they are here. Massimo orders his usual glass of wine and double scotch before taking up his usual seat in the corner as to keep an eye on the club and to see whom enters.

Alastair takes notice of the man as he takes his seat in the corner of the bar, taking particular notice of the fact that he ordered two different drinks yet he is alone.

Alastair says,”Interesting, why someone would order two different drinks is beyond me. I can see ordering a pair of the same drink but drinks of different varieties that is intriguing.”

Realizing that he is talking to himself in public, Alastair motions for the waitress.

He says to the waitress, “Two triple rye whiskies; one for myself and one for the man sitting in the corner, and would you please invite him to join me.”

Maddalena walks into Indigo, completely ignoring the large beefy man at the front door requesting a cover charge. She slides deftly past the security rope and immediately mixes into the crowd.
Her black and silver dress sparkles in the lights from the dance floor as she makes her way to the bar on the first floor. She orders a glass of red wine and smiles as she watches the doorman look confused, trying to track her down.

Once her drink is ready she takes it from the bartender and turns to face the crowd. The bartender leans forward and says something to her. She pointedly ignores him. He points at her drink and says something again and she moves away from the bar, into the crowd, blatantly not paying for her drink. The bartender looks very upset about this and sends yet another security man into the crowd to find the woman.

A young waitress wanders up to him with an embarrassed glow about her face and gives him the drink and says that a man up in VIP requested his company. Massimo looks up and sees that it is the same man that he noticed upon entering the club. He looks down and finishes off his scotch and begins to stand as he notices the bartender looking rather irate and pointing at a drink that Maddalena had ordered. As she stood and walked away from the bar Massimo motions to the bartender and hands him a $50 and says,

"This is for her drink and anything else she chooses to order."

With that Massimo stands and makes his way up to the VIP section to meet with the Mysterious stranger.

Droz walks into the indigo (under mask of 1000).

He goes to bar and gets a beer then goes and mingles in with the people there.

As the man enters the VIP, Alastair stands, offers his hand to the man and says, "Buona sera, Alastair 'The Accountant' Giovanni at your service. I could not help but notice you ordered two drinks for yourself and well I find myself rather curious as to why. Please have a seat and join me."

Alastair waits for the man to sit before taking his seat.

Massimo walks up to the man and extends his had and replies,

"It is a pleasure to meet you Alastair. I am Massimo Amadore of the Rose."

He glances down at the two drinks and listens to Alastair's question before commenting,

"I have just grown so used to it. When i was still in Italy i went everywhere with the beautiful woman whom embraced me. She loves Red Wine and so now everytime i go anywhere i always order a glass of wine just in case she decides to show up."

Alastair smiles as Massimo answers his question "Please forgive me if this is too forward, but how long have you been waiting for her to make an appearance?"

Alastair takes a drink of his whisky savoring the flavor for a moment.

"Judging by the fluidity of your motions as you entered the club I would wager that you have been waiting for countless nights. As you appear you have become so accustomed to ordering the wine and finding a vantage point to keep a watchful eye; that it has become instinctual rather than by choice."

Alastair pauses for a moment lost in contemplation.

Maybe I have pried a little far into his past already, I should apologize.

“Le mie scuse, your past is none of my business as we all have things we would rather not discuss, I am truly sorry if I have offended you. So what is your trade Massimo?”
