Thread: Just a Night (att: any and Marzanna)

Marzanna parks outside the Coffee Haus, enters, orders a large Mocha Latte with a double shot of cappucino. She spots Mackenzie in the corner and walks over to the booth and slides in on the opposite side of her.

She smiles as she sits down. "So, whats new?"

Mackenzie smiles at Marzanna. "Had I told you that I got my black belt in my form?" She points to her black t-shirt that has a red, flaming dragon's head and the words Jeet Kune Do underneath on the left side.

Smiles at her. "No! You hadn't, congratulations!! What does it say there on the left?"

Mackenzie pronounces the form for her. "It was orginally Jun Fan Gung Fu taught by Bruce Lee. It is a form that is always changing. This symbol is the Descendents of the Dragon of the Bruce Lee form. The second generation, as to say, of the form." She sounds very pleased at explaining the form. "I just got my black belt the other night. It something I didn't think I would be able to do since I was...." She chuckles. "I thought it was something I just had to give up."

Mackenzie smiles again. "So what's up with you?"

She listens intently, seriously impressed. "Wow, that sounds difficult to learn and perfect." She nods, when Mackenzie talks about having thought she'd have to give up her chance at a black belt.

Marzanna smiles. "Nothing much going on new with me, just hanging out, staying out of trouble." She chuckles. "Getting to know some new friends. I spent a few hours the other night speaking with Eric about history, he has an extensive knowledge of such things. Settling in, getting used to my new surroundings."

Mackenzie nods. "It's not an easy thing, but I'm extremely happy and grateful I got to accomplish it."

When Marzanna talks about new friends, Mackenzie eyes light up and she smiles about Eric. "Yes, he has a lot of knowledge about things, no one to underestimate. New friends, you say? Anyone interesting?"

Marzanna smiles at her. "Yes, I definitely agree about Eric, I plan to spend a good amount of time picking his brain if I can." She laughs. "Yes, I have met some interesting people these past few days." She leans over the table to Mackenzie and whispers, softly enough to NOT be heard by anyone, human or otherwise, other than Mackenzie. "Something we will have to discuss in a more appropriate place."

Mackenzie's eyes light up as she listens to Marzanna and the whispers back to her. "Oh, most intriguing. I shall look forward to it."

She glances around the Coffee Haus and then back to Marzanna. "Right there." She points to a booth. "Is the first place I sat down in the City." She grins. "Where did you first come into the City at?
