Thread: Meeting with the Sheriff (Attn Eric; June 8th)

Eric comes in and walks over to Kalie. "Hello mam how are you doing you said you had some business to discuss."

"Yes brother. Please sit down can I get you something?"

If he says yes she will go place his order and then return. If he says no she will continue on when he sits down.

"First of all I would like to offer up my services to you as a humble member of this city. If you have need of me you have, but to ask. You honor us brother with your service.

Secondly I have a request and one I am willing to pay for as it may well be of minor burden to you if you agree. My request is that you would raise another of the family to the level of your assistants, Tris to be specific. He is a terrifically resourceful man and unfortunately has not been recognized for his contributions to the city, as quickly as you have so successfully achieved. I for one know he was of great assistance with that drug lab we took down a few months back. I believe you would find him worthy and up to the task."

Eric declines the offer of food. " As i have already eaten for the evening."he says with a smile.

" I appreciate the offer of help and all that you offer I will call upon you when needed you can be assured. I do wonder what pull you may have among the citizens. Because it would do me no good to call you for a Lawyer if you don't know any."

" As for Tris if he suits the task it is only a trivial issue as I do not want to seem partial. The quandery is he would have to surrender his other tasks before taking up more. Mr. Cahill stated that one may only hold a single position within our organization his duty to family has been good why would we want to change that?"

"He may not, but I think he will. His talents are much better suited for the streets than the boardroom. Either way I shall recongize the value of the arrangement even if he should decline."

" Yes when I see him next I will discuss the situation with him. How are you really doing sister you look alittle worse for wear." Concern paints Erics words

"I physically I am doing better, brother. Thank you for asking. I have to admit, however, to feeling like I need some time out in the grasslands. A chance to be lone for a time and run with the wind. The strains of this past year are beginning to tear at me."

" If you need a good run and peacful time my recomendation is to go to Greenland I found it fun and a great time. I was able to catch up on my journals and do some research. It may be just what you need.

"Unfortunately I do not believe that I would be able to go and do as you suggest... as tempting as it does sound. My destiny and this place how come to a point and I must remain -- regardless of my personal longings."
