Thread: Meeting Billy (Attn Billy/any)

About 45 mins later, Billy walks in and sees Corin. He is wearing a black dress pants and a blue silk shirt. He sits at her table and flags a waitress down.

"Yes could I have a coffee, cream and suger please?"

Looks to Corin.

"So you own the studio?"

Corin smiles when she see's Billy enter, she forces blood to the surface to warm her body.

"Yes I own the studio. It used to belong to a brilliant musician, and when he passed I could not bare to watch the studio suffer and took it on."

"I have heard of the studio even outside of the city. I am sorry to hear that the owner has passed away. You must have your ear to the music scene, do you know a guy named Logan?" If left me a $100.00 tip with a number to call him and try out for his band. He needs a keyboard player? What can you tell me about his band?"

The waitress comes back with his coffee.

"Thank you. Sara, is it?" Looking at the name tag. "Please get my friend here her next round as well."

Turns back to Corin, "How long have you been in the city?"

"I do know Logan, he's a good man. If rumors are correct he played at Rockfest this year, not too long ago. If he's asking you to try out he must really like what you do."

She smiles at the waitress.

"Thank you." and

When Sara moves away Corin turns her attention back to Bill.

"I've been here since December, it's the longest I've ever stayed in one place."

"I am guessing that you like it here then if you are staying. Where were you before here? Me, I was living in New York, but I was traveling a great deal doing shows in clubs and so on. This is really the first year that I have not been on some type of tour."

drinks some of his coffee. "Are you hungry? I am. How is the food here?"

looks for the waitress.

"Yeah I plan to stay, it's nice here, good people."

She smiles at him.

"I've actually been all over. Grew up in Ireland, moved to Africa, then went through Italy, France, Spain, Germany...I traveled a lot outside of this country."

She sips her mocha as a nervous habit. When he asks about the food she shakes her head.

"I've never eaten here...but there's Sara."

looks to Sara and waves her over, then back to Corin.

"Wow you moved allot, must have been hard."

As Sara walks up. "Can I have a bagel with cream cheese?" she takes the order and walks away.

"How was it moving so much and to so many different places?"
