In These Shoes? (ANY)

Lenore, dressed to kill, walks into the Coffee Haus for Open Mic Night. She waits her turn, and when the stage is empty, she smiles and walks quietly to the mic. She grins at the audience, and makes a sweeping gesture to her shoes, before singing. ((performance 3)) She bows as she finishes, and takes a seat near the wall to listen to any others.

Out for a relaxing evening Sabrina sits in the back watches the performances.

Scanning the crowd, Lenore takes notice of one woman in particular, especially once she notes that this woman isn't blinking. Breathing sporadically, perhaps, but definitely not blinking. She steps closer to Sabrina. "Evening...have we met?"

Sabrina smiles at the girl in front of her. "No I don't believe we have. I have not been in the city long. I am Sabrina Mathis. And you are?"

A young man gets up, he has long hair down to his shoulder, hanging into his eyes. He is dressed in a black/grey stripe sweater, ripped up blue jeans and ratty tennis shoes. Getting up on the stage, he seems surprised at a bit of feedback as he hooks his guitar into the provided amp.

He walks up to the mic, his head down, not looking up at the audience. He stands there for long moments before he does anything, then he strokes the first notes and begins to sing. His voice is a beautiful rich tenor, the hum of the audience goes silent the moment he begins to sing Singing

Sabrina smiles as she listens to the guy singing. Looking happy she sways to the music a bit.

When the song is over she claps and smiles at him.

Lenore returns Sabrina's smile. "I'm Lenore Greyfell. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Mathis...or, may I call you Sabrina?" She extends a hand for a handshake.

As the man plays, Lenore closes her eyes, listening and revelling. When the song is finished, she stands and applauds. She turns to face Sabrina. "Always a pleasure, I think, to hear someone truly enjoy making music."

Shaking hands with Lenore "Yes, Sabrina is fine."

Looking back to the stage "Yes, I do enjoy the music more when you can tell they put their all into it."

The singer looks up as if surprised when Lenore begins clapping, he smiles shyly, unplugs his guitar, then starts to walk off of the stage, his head down the entire time as if afraid to meet anyones eye.

On an impulse, Lenore stands and walks with authority to the backstage area. ((provided, of course, that no one stops her...in which case she might just snog them out of her way ;3 )) She looks around for the singer.
