Eric Brumman steps into the Coffee Haus and looks around to see if there are any noticeable "family" members present. His green eyes shaded by the black well-worn, wide-brimmed hat intensely scans the patrons. Not immediately recognizing anyone of note, he adjusts his battered, travel-worn, black duster. His carpenter blue jeans are new and clean underneath the duster. His tennis shoes are dirty white and look to be well used.

The Coffee Haus has few patrons at this hour and there are plenty of open seats. Eric heads to the back of the building and sits down at the booth closest to the bathrooms to observe anyone who would come in. As he sits, his duster moves and slightly reveals the new green button up shirt underneath. He pulls off his hat revealing red hair underneath and sets the hat on the seat beside him.

Eric pulls a worn spiral notebook and seems to be reviewing notes and muttering quietly under his breath. He glances up at any new patron that walks through the door, evaluating whether they are anyone of note.

Kalie walks into Coffee Haus and moves to the counter to place an order. She spends a good deal of time looking at the menu and asking the woman at the counter about the various drinks. Finally she decides upon one and the woman moved off to make the steamer. As she does Kalie takes a look around at the people inside.

Eric takes note of the new arrival, closes his notebook with his finger marking his spot, and looks questioningly in her direction.

As Kalie's eyes take in the individuals, most avert their eyes as to look upon the woman was somehow something to be feared. The one in the booth towards the back that meets her gaze drew her attention. She watches him close the book and mark his place. She also notes that his chest does not rise and fall with breath as the others do.

She pays the woman at the counter for her drink and takes the steaming drink with her as she walks to the back of the building and to the booth the new gentleman sits.

"Good evening sir. I don't believe I have seen you around these parts before. The name is Kalie."

Noting that Kalie did not take a drink of her purchased beverage, unlike the prior patrons, "The name's Eric. I am new to this part and am looking for family." There was emphasis on the last word of the sentence.

"Please have a seat." He gestures to the open seats of the booth. "It would be rude for me not to offer a lady a seat."

Logan walked in a few minutes after Kalie did. He shakes the snow off his leather jacket and pushes his big superdark shades back up before walking to a table about six feet from Kalie and Eric and taking a seat. He casts a glance toward the two before he picks up the menu on the table, and starts to peruse it.

"Thank you sir." Kalie takes the offered seat.

"I pretty much know all the families in this area and actually have arrangements with some of them to help faciliate introductions between the heads of those families and the individuals I run across in the course of my duties. Who are you looking for? Maybe I can help you out."

Boone enters the Coffee Haus. He is wearing a black wool doublebreasted peacoat, jeans and loafers. Making his way to place an order, he nods to Logan and notices Kalie with Eric. After placing his order he makes his way to a seat near, but not imposingly so, to Kalie and her guest.

Logan tipped his head to Kosh, and went back to observing the two in the back.

A large man enters the Coffee Haus, wearing a well-worn leather jacket, jeans, and biker boots. His blond hair is covered by a black wool hat, and his face is covered by a scraggly blond beard. His eyes are sharp and crystal blue. He smiles wide as he takes a quick look around the place.

"Mother FUCK but it's cold out there! What's a fella gotta do to get a steamin' cup o' Joe around this joint?" The other patrons scowl a bit, but he looks back at them with a winning smile and a wink. When his drink is served, he sips it carefully, using the mug to warm his hands. He looks over at the booth where Kalie is sitting, and walks over to it.

"Hey, you shakin' down this guy or what?"
