Emma drives her blue dodge neon to the hospital and parks near the front of the parking lot. Leading JTM inside quickly she doesn't give much of a explanation.

Once inside she goes to the recovery wing. Stopping outside door 211 she takes JTM by the shoulders and whispers. "You need to keep it together JTM. The door is a LONG way downstairs and if you lose it in here then Maddie will skin us both alive. There's a doctor in here ... he's human... don't fuck this up. Okay?"

Once she's certain he's going to hold in his beast she continues, "A friend of mine investigated a domestic disturbance call in the pitt on Jan. 9th ... it was at your apartment. At first we figured that there was nothing to be found inside but... among the rubble they found her."

Emma opens the door revealing a male doctor in a white lab coat standing at the foot of a recovery bed looking at a chart. In the bed, a cast on her arm, head wrapped in gauze lays JTM's #1 girl... Barbie.

JTM seems pleased at the diagnosis running it all through his head over and over again. He looks over Barbie and her injuries, glad to see she is in one piece after everything that transpired. He looks at the paperwork thoroughly getting confused at the lingo, looking at Barbie, then the paperwork and back. After several of these, he succumbs to wanting Barbie back and signs the paperwork. He hands the doc the paperwork. He reaches in his jacket and pulls out $200 slipping it into his lab coat pocket.

“Thanks Doc. You don’t know how much this means to me. You’ve been a big help.”

He shakes the doc’s hand before going over to Barbie and gently placing her in his jacket pocket so that she is safe, snug and secure. He looks to Emma.

“Ready to go when you are, Emma. I’m taking Barbie out of here, that cool?. Once again, thanks doc.”

He nods to both of them, and heads out the door blocking Barbie’s view of Emma so Barbie doesn’t see her. He walks up the stairs making sure not to jostle Barbie too much.

“It’s ok Barbie. She’s just taking us home, that’s all. Everything is gonna be just fine, trust me on that. No need for you to get upset.”

He patiently waits by the passenger side door for Emma to let him and Barbie into her car.
