Thread: "New Moon On Monday" -- The Return

Brazil- JD carries the torpored bodies of Pius and Izabella Black of the battlefield and to the safety of the rally-point. He seems quiet and contemplative for the rest of the time there, answering questions when asked but not joining in any conversation unless directly approached. He volenteers to help out with security or packing up the plane, working in stoic silence. In a lull in the action, he changes out of his battle-torn clothes into a pair of jeans, a dark grey t-shirt and an old OD green army jacket with the 101st Airborne patch on both shoulders.

Lamar- JD acknowledges all orders and works efficiently to help out, volenteering again when work is to be done, his features still stoically unreadable. Specifically he helps move Kalie, Pius and Izabella Black into the safety and comfort of the warehouse and volenteers to keep watch until the last torpored Kindred is collected safely by their Primogen. "I'll text JTM and let him know about Kalie,Sir," he adds.

~Text message to JTM and Logan- "@ Col. Walker's warehouse safe- Kalie is torpored but safe, needs transport. CC'd- JTM and Logan"

He sends one more text message then takes up a position of guardianship among the torpored.

Brazil - The four remaining gargoyles all obfuscate to appear as a beautiful woman and three hulking men once more, dutifully following their torpid masters (Izabella and Pius) and watching over JD has he handles them. As JD is respectful and not agressive they allow him to transport the tremere and remain silent unless specifically spoken to.

Lamar - The four gargoyles remain with their masters, silent and watching, waiting for the House and Clan to make arrangements for their retrieval and dutifully standing guard over them.

Brazil - Constantino joins his clanmates on their flight, transporting his coteriemate Kalie, having worked out a deal with Ben Walker to ensure her safety personally.

Lamar - Constantino's clanmates let him out at the airport where their plane lands about the same time as Walker's. The kindred of Lamar will have a chance to see Tino saying goodbye to one of the young men among the Giovanni (who returns to the plane and leaves) as well as him taking Kalie's body with him as he leaves to head home.

(( IE: Just posting this because the players worked this out after the last posting was done last night, Kalie is care of Tino so JD Holt may have noted that to JTM in his text as well. ))

Brazil - A.J. sits quietly on the plane ride home. His mind reflecting on everything that happened. Everything had been a blur during the battle and even after it had ended. Like Domino, he hadn't left Corin's side until he had no other choice but to do so. In that time he went over the battle over and over again. In his mind, he counted the specific ones he had come to finish. The ones who had killed Marcus his former master and Caitlin, his first ghoul and first love. He counts the members of that pack one last time as the buckle seat belts sign displays and the captain announces they are about to land. A wave of relief and freedom washes over his entire body as he came to terms with the truth, his life long mission was finally done. There was none left to kill. He was finally coming home and wouldn't have to go hunting for that pack ever again. It was done. He took a moment to enjoy the finality of the moment.

Lamar - A.J. at the moment the orders are spoken, pulls out his cell phone and sends a text message to Kendov and Mackenzie that says, "We are Walker's warehouse. Corin is down in a bad way and not waking up. Your presence is requested here as soon as possible. A.J."

He then sends another text message to Lenore, "We are back and at Walker's warehouse. Please get here as soon as possible to tend to your husband."

He then puts his cellphone away. There was one last person for him to contact, but it wasn't the time or the place. He then takes a seat as close to Corin as Domino will allow and waits.

BRAZIL: Domino is as silent as usual but gives off a definate mourning look. He collects as much of his sire's ashes as possible before returning to corin's body. He let's nobody get remotely close to her, even AJ. As they go to the plane he never let's anyone get too close to her. One of the plane crew goes to take her from him and put her with the others but stops short as the assamite gives him a look of pure death. The crewman backs away as Domino looks to Walker.

"Please, let me fly next to her." ((Assuming he's ok with it, Domino loads Corin in the plane and sits next to her))

During the flight home Domino pulls out the cross Corin dropped before they left. He takes a moment to look at it before he puts it between his hands and, for the first time ever, he prays.

I know I'm not of your religion, but she is. I know I'm ok, but she isn't. I don't know if you exist or if you even care but she needs you. I swear, god, if you exist and you don't help her I'll find a way to you and make you pay.

As Domino prays he gets a wet spot on his cheek. He wipes at it to see its a blood tear. He realizes his calm demeanor is breaking. As the images of the battle flood his head, of Corin and H, he lowers his head and begins to cry.

LAMAR: Domino, regaining his composure, takes Corin with the others and lays her on one of the couches. He stands over her taking guard of her and the others, but mostly her, as he waits for the other kindred of Lamar to show. As he stands there he reaches in his cloak and keeps his hand on the small metal cross around his neck, hoping there is something to all that praying he did.

Mackenzie enters the warehouse, purposefully holding herself to a walk instead of the run she wants to do. She looks around with a concerned expression, trying to mentally count who is where and who is accounted for.

Stan quietly moves into the building. He is dressed simply in black jeans and dark brow shirt. He nodes to those he sees and takes note of those who are missing. He pulls out his phone sending out a text message before putting it away. He stands quietly off to the side simply watching and observing.

Lenore enters the warehouse, having obviously left her home in a hurry. She runs as quickly as she is able to sit by Jano, crying. She looks several times to Corin, but, as the other Kindred is well tended, she remains by her husband.
