Thread: Pickup (Attn: Maharet)

maharet turns and looks at Corin, her face stained red from the dryed blood trears that she had cryed the night before with a look of sever pain still etched on her face, and still in morning for her loss .

Corin hands Maharet a wet washcloth so she can wash her face, then looks away. She knew from personal experience how upsetting it can be to have someone watch you wash away the tears of pain. Maharet had come to Corin the night before telling her that Jaysin had died and Corin knew all too well the pain that came from losing a lover.

Once Maharet is done washing her face, Corin waits over by the door for Maharet, walks her down the stairs, then locks the door. She leads her out the front of the building then into her limo. Once in the limo Corin looks at Maharet.

"Do you know where Jaysin's ashes are?"

maharet washes the tears from her face and says maddy said a package would be sent to me.

Corin nods.

"Then at least you will have that."

She looks at the driver and nods her head. The driver then pulls out away from Eternal Echoes and drives on around the city.

"Tell me exactly what happened to him."

all i know is he went to help a man at pairie park i think and thier was several others there and a fight ensued and he fought bravely against them and managed to call maddalena for help but all she could do was ease his pain and hear his last requests before he ashed away . maharet said fighting back the more tears.

Corin hands Maharet a wet rag.

"Don't start crying again...you risk your life if you do."

She looks out the window as the limo drives around.

i wouldnot compoeses herself and continues that is all that i know but maddalena may know more and i want to know all of the ceromstances around his death Corin .

"Then you need to speak to Maddalena."

She looks back at Maharet.

"This pain is something you are going to feel for some time, and it is going to be hard, but you will have to find strength."

i understand that, but how do i go on with my life without him in it every where i go i still see him ,there`s not a place that he has not been and that i donot still feel him to some degree.and to do what you suggest will take all my strenth and my courage just to hold it together .how do you do that and not fall apart .
