Thread: visiting Miranda Dec. 28

Miranda opens the heavy wood double doors and smiles brightly when she sees Lydia. "Lydia! I had not expected to see you again so soon, I am pleasantly surprised. Please, come in."

She steps back to allow the other woman room to move inside before pushing shut the doors and walking towards the leather chairs arranged in front of the desk. She waves at one and sinks down into the other, pulling her legs beneath her and arranging her skirts.

"To what do I owe the delight of your company this evening?"

Walking in with a smile. "I was hoping you were receiving guests today" Handing her the bouquet of Purple flowers. "I wanted to apologize for my rude departure last night. I am afraid I did not use very good manners.

After handing her the flowers she sits down.

Miranda's face brightens when Lydia hands her the flower bouquet, "Oh thank you!" she exclaims. "Please think nothing of your departure last night; JT Mogul's antics I'm afraid put a damper on the rest of my party and many had to hurry to leave in the wake of the Prince's ire. I am never angry with you, dear Lydia but the gift of these beautiful flowers is most appreciated."

She pulls the flowers into her lap and holds them while she and the Harpy speak, occasionally running a hand over a petal. "I do think JTM should owe me a minor boon for the disruption of my party, yes?"

Nodding in agreement "Yes a minor boon is a small price to pay for the interruption."

Standing up "Well I am afraid duty calls, if you will excuse me I must be on my way. Thank you again for a lovely party"

Miranda stands with her guest, taking a quick breath of the flowers before she replies, "You are most welcome, and thank you again for your gift. I hope we might have more time talk in the future. Be well, Lydia."

When Lydia has departed the room, Miranda finds a vase and wanders into the bathroom connected to her office; filling it with water and placing the flowers inside before returning to her desk.
