Miranda reaches out a hand to take the package and examines it curiously, turning it over it her hands a moment before shrugging, "Thank you Stefan."

She turns to carry it to her office, but not before saying over her shoulder, "Happy holidays to you" with a warm smile.

Once back in her private retreat she sits down at her desk and places the gift in front of her, the low light of the lamps creating little sparkles on the paper. She reaches into the top drawer and pulls out a thin metal letter opener, sliding the tip between the edges of the wrapping; neatly opening it so the box sat before her. Reaching forward, Miranda lifted the lid and peered inside.

Inside is a wooden jewelry box and inside the jewelry box, on a bed of red velvet, lay a small rose shapped metal pin. The craftsmanship wasn't particularly overwhelming and were it not, likely, a gift from a certain 'dear friend' she might dismiss it all together... at least until she spotted the note in the bottom of the gift box.

Opening the letter, it reads:

You may not still believe in me... but I believe in you. Best wishes to you in your endeavor to rebuild the glory of your clan. This gift will help you assert your social skills among your peers, wear it and be confident in your prowess for it is magnified by this simple trinket.
