Emma and Constantino are sitting in the dinning room, the table set up for a romantic evening for two. Tino leans in to kiss Emma, but just before his lips touch hers, Emma’s phone starts to ring.
“Hello?” Emma answers the phone.
“Emma, Caro, How have you been?” Constantino could hear his sister’s voice over the phone.
“Sophia! I haven’t talked to you in ages.” Emma replies right before a blood curtailing scream is heard from the doorway where Kirsi just walked in.

"Did you like the present I sent you?"

Emma's head wheels towards the door at Kirsi's scream and stopping fit that takes her quickly up the stairs to the nursery. Giving Tino an apologetic look she returns to the phone conversation.

"Present?" Emma looks to Tino questioningly and as he nods affirmation despite her utter ignorance of what Sophia is talking about she says, "Oh yes! I'm sorry, you just caught me at a rather... intimate moment ... I adored it. It's wonderful. Beyond wonderful! I can't wait to thank you in person. When will you be home? We've missed you terribly."

"Good! It was just my way of saying welcome to the family. I will be home soon, I am having Benedetta pack my bags now." Sophia pauses for a moment, "Were there enough diamonds? I wasn't sure at first but is was so pretty in the store. Have you worn it yet?"

"Sophia you should know by now that I'm a very simple girl ... you could have given me a bit of tin and I would have treasured it. Of course there were enough diamonds." Emma mouths the words 'what the hell is she talking about?'

"Worn it? No. I didn't want to touch it until I had something nice for it to go with. Lazarus Arch has some dresses coming to the house soon for me but even then I'll have to find some sort of event to wear it to. Maybe Tino can plan something for us when we have a free evening."

"Wait. Lazarus bought you clothes? Well, you simply can not wear them until I have made sure they are proper. You can't expect a man to know anything about how a Giovanni Woman should dress." Sophia stops to think for a moment, about whether or not Emma told the truth about her hesitance.

"The diamonds were so pretty, it is a very beautiful bracelet, isn't it?"

"Sophia you are far too dear to me but, I think you may be putting the cart before the horse a touch still... thank you for making me feel a part of the household." Emma mouths the words 'bracelet?' to Tino looking for him to throw her a bone.

"I would, however, appreciate some pointers on how to make sure not to embaress your brother and the familia while out on the town. I fear that my passionate urges of the blood don't always lead me to making the most prudent of decisions and that your brother may never play poker with me again." She laughs and pokes Tino playfully.

"I'll tell you about everything you missed while you were away as soon as you get back, alright? Right now, however, I am in the middle of a beautiful candle lit dinner and I was forced to answer my phone fearing it was Tower business that couldn't be avoided. Now that I know it was happy news for the familia perhaps you'd forgive me for wanting to not keep my handsome date waiting any longer?"
