Thread: Enter the Assassin Lucita y Aragon (Sophia Only)

Sophia lowers her hands to rest on the desk when the woman arrives.

"I need to find someone, and I hear you are the best." Sophia keeps her eyes trained on the woman.

"I would like for you to find and bring a certain person to me."

Lucita smiled at being called 'the best.' Of course she was, but that went without saying. "Who is this pitiable individual who has you looking for ... the best?"

Sophia lets out a small sigh. "Her name is Rozlin, and it seems that to everyone else, she is unfindable."

"Hmmm" Her eyes said mountains of what she might or might not have heard about this particular target. "I turned down this contract once before. I'm not normally in the habit of playing the role of kidnapper. It does little for my reputation if my targets are left able to tell the tale."

She considers for a moment in silence. "You have my asking price ready then?" Her eyes dart, only briefly, to the security box laying near Sophia's feet which she had correctly guessed contained at least part of her payment.

"I will expect at least 50% in advance. 50% on completion of the task. Do you find this to be acceptable Ms. Giovanni?"

"I do." Sophia picks the case up off the floor and sets it on the desk in front of her. "The first half of your payment." says Sophia.

"And if anyone should get in my way?" she arches an eyebrow. "You understand your family's position in this city doesn't concern me in the least, yes? If I have to break a few eggs in my effort to aquire the target... ???" She left the question hanging, waiting for Sophia to either accept or reject her terms that she might take a few people down in the course of aquiring Rozlin.

"I understand." She says, keeping her eyes trained on Lucita's "Do what you must."

Lucita smiles and strides forward to take the case. "Well then, you just bought yourself a kidnapper." With an nod to the young woman, the shadows began to slowly creap up her sides and all around her in whispy tenticles that seemed to pull her downward into the floor. As she disappeared into the darkness the last thing that could be heard was a respectful and business like farewell of, "Ms. Giovanni."

Sophia lets her hands fall into her lap once she is sure the woman is gone. She sighs lightly before standing up, and pushing the chair back into place.

She tells the wraiths that they can move along, but stay close within the mansion. She leaves the office and heads to her room.
