Thread: Bad Company comes knocking (Attn Torin 02/04/10)

Constantino opens the door.

"Welcome Logan, I appreciate you doing this for the family. Come in, make yourself comfortable.

Tino looks down at the plastic sack.

"Is that the package we spoke of last night? I'll have Guiseppe take it to cugino Torin."

"Thanks, sir."

Logan follows Tino in. "Uhm look, I wanted to apologize for my manners last night. I know I didn't snap at you, but it's your place, and having assholes around makes you look bad. So, if I can clear it with Kalie, I'll owe you a little somethin somethin for having to deal with the Asshole of the night." He says, patting his own chest.

He hands the sack over. "This? Nah, it's just a starter package, right? I figure he needs to get sized up and get a feel for the styles. I know a couple of places that are open 'till 9:30 usually, and one place that will stay open late for me."

Logan motions to the bag. "I just kinda guessed at the big dude's size and went with it."

Guiseppe will be called into the room by Torin after he knocks. Torin will not open the bag until after Guiseppe has left the room. When he is alone, he will rise and examine the contents...

After a little while of struggle, he will figure out how to properly put on the clothing. He stops to check himself out in the mirror before he heads out to meet with Logan.

Logan nods as Torin comes down into the Foyer.

"Hey man. Sorry for the sad sack fashion there, man. I figured something simple to start with, and we can swing through the diff shops to find you a style you like once we head out."

((OOC: Forgot to mention he is also wearing his sword and the cloth sack))

Torin adjusts his sword. "I will need clothing that allows me to move quickly. But I do not wish to wear the clothes of kings. Despite what riches I might have, it does not suit me to dress as such. So, do you have a wagon or will we be riding horses."

Logan blinks as he notices the sword for the first time.

"Whoa, uhm dude?"

He points to the sword.

"That ain't gonna fly, yo. You can't move downtown strapped like that." Logan grimaces, trying to think of the right words.

"The local uhhh... constables? Yeah... Dude, they will totally go bug fuck... uhm I mean... no... uhm... get really uhm crazy... concerned.. Yeah, they will be really, concerned, about a dude running around with something like that."

"Like, several... teams... of officers, wanting to take you to Jail, concerned."

Logan looks to Constantino obviously feeling a little out of his depth trying to explain this concept. "I'm sure Mr. Giovanni here will be happy to keep that safe until we get back."


"orr... if either of you have a better idea?"

Torin nods after Logan finishes stammering. As if I wouldn't understand that weapons aren't allowed to be brandished in town. "Of course, I understand." Torin unstraps the sword and after a moment, holds it out to Constantino. "Will you hold this for me until I return?"

Constantino listens patiently to Logan's apology with a small smirk on his face.

"Logan, we were all a bit jumpy last night. Think nothing of it. I'm sure Ms. Jeffries would not be too pleased if you owed me. Besides I find that friends owing favors to each other is bad for business. Its good to see kindred with emotion, as long as that emotion doesn't drive them into dark places. Far too many of the kindred in this town do not feel, as you have surely noticed by now, that is not the case with me. I prefer to make allies of those who still understand the meaning of words passion, desire, love, and most important... loyalty."

Tino will lead the way down to Torin's room.

Constantino will take the sword with a nod.

"I look forward to discussing the modern nights with you upon your return. Sadly, I believe you will find the architecture lacking, and the nature of the cities denizens far less inviting. Everything in these nights is about convenience, and sometimes that ruins the fun. But you gentlemen have a good night."

Constantino begins to turn and walk from the room before stopping. He places a hand on Logan's should and whispers. "Relax." Then continues out of the room.

Logan looks to Constantino and nods. "Right... Relax..."

"Oh! And thanks." He nods again, in recognition of the hook he was just released from.

"Oh! Also? I brought my Bike, so I'm hoping it's okay to have what we pick up delivered here. If not I can arrange something else."


After Constantino gives a yea or nay, Logan looks to Torin and motions outside. "Aight, buddy. Time to get this bad motor-scooter moving. Come on outside and we'll start with the important shit."

He leads Torin outside and to his bike, and motions to it.

"Lesson one, and one of the most important lessons. No one uses horses and carts anymore. You have entered the age of the Motor Vehicle, sir."
