Thread: Making Things Right (attn: Corin) 7/29/10

A.J. looked at Keela sitting across from him in the VIP Room as she ate. He hadn't touched his food for the whole time that they had been there. His mind was on what Xavier had instructed him on. He looks at his phone sitting there on the table and ponders asking Corin to come to Gippetto's. He looked across the table at Keela again, despite his worries he couldn't help but take in her beauty. He says to her, "Keela, would you mind if I asked Corin to come by for a few?" She looked up from her dinner and smiles and says, "Of course I wouldn't. I want to thank her for making sure I was safe while you were gone." He nods to her and picks up his phone and sends her a text message.

<T> Corin, would you mind coming to Gippetto's tonight. There is something very important I need to talk to you about?

He then sets the phone down and begins twirling his spaghetti around his fork. There is a sadness to his expression that Keela sees instantly. She asks quietly, "What is on your mind, Aidan? You have been quiet all night and its the kind of quiet that lets me know you have something to tell me about." He looks up at her and says, "You are right. There is something on my mind. You probably will not like it either." He pauses as he sees a fearful expression come to her face and shakes his head as he continues, "No, I am not going hunting again. Not at all. Though, I may have to leave town for a while." He expression saddens more and he pauses and reaches his hand across the table and takes hers, "You know I have not been myself in a long time. The other night, someone came to me and made me an offer that was impossible to refuse. This person can teach me to be the man I used to be again. He can show me the way back to being a knight again. The first thing though is to right the wrongs I have done against others over the past few months. Starting with you." He pauses a moment as a smile starts to come to her face. She says, "Aidan, I love you. I always will, no matter how you change." He raises his hand and shakes his head, then continues, "I love you too, and that is the reason why I want to find myself again. I owe you that and so much more. You have endured so much grief over me when I should not have strayed in the first place. Tonight, I am promising you, I will never stray again."

He stands and walks the two steps separating them and reaches into his pocket as he gets down on one knee. He opens the small box that he retrieved from his pocket, revealing a diamond ring. He takes a deep breath as he looks into her eyes and asks, "Keela, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Her eyes flood with tears as she throws her arms around him, sobbing the words, "Yes, yes I will marry you Aidan." She pulls back after a long embrace and he slides the right on to her finger. He is beaming looking into her eyes. He then stands up and kisses her deeply, holding her close to him.

A.J. shrugs as he looks at her and says, "Just not the reaction I thought you would have." He motions to the table and Keela retakes her seat and he says, "Would you two please join us?"
