Thread: Gotta see a Man about a Horse (Attn: Ash 3-14-10)

Ash answers the phone, "Hey Logan. Yeah, come on by the studio and I can show you what I have done so far. Doors open, let yourself in."

Logan smiles. "Right on, yo. I'll be right there."

Logan puts his celphone away as the cross light is turning yellow. He revs the engine and tears away from the intersection just as the light turns green.

He is in front of the Idle Hands shop in less than 3 minutes. Logan kills the engine and leans the bike on it's kickstand before dismounting. He checks the street and heads up the stairs to ring the bell.

Ash shakes his head when the bell rings. Since Ginelle is gone for the night, Ash gets up and walks to the door and lets Logan in. "Door open, let yourself in. I am pretty sure I said that. Do you know how far a walk it is from my bench to the door? I mean really."

Ash smiles, "Just jackin' with you. Come on in. How are things going? Kalie keeping you under her thumb still?" He then moves out of the way so Logan can come in before shutting the door.

"I'm worth it." Logan winks.

"Sorry man. I don't go in doors without someone on the other side. It's a rule."

" 'Less I'm bustin' in... you know?" He says with a smirk and a wink of his blind eye.


"Seriously, though, thanks for seeing me on such short notice, right? It's been a while I know. I'm hopin' you didn't think I punked on you."

Ash smiles at the arrogance of the young brujah. "We shall see if you are worth it or not, I am sure. I didn't really think you had punked out on me. I just figured you knew it would take me some time to really get anywhere. I do have quite a bit finished though. Is that what brought you around or is there something else I can do for you?"

Logan smirks and nods.

"Yeah, it's about the work." He looks around inquisitively. "Is it here?"

"Also wanted to know when you'll be okay to start training? I'm good to move you on the basic stuff now, but my schedule is gonna be tight for a while."

"I have the basic stuff covered through a debt from JTM so I am good on that. The rest I am not all that worried on at the moment. When your schedule clears up some in the future we can discuss it then." Ash moves around the workbench. "Yeah its here, in the back. Just so you know its in pieces at the moment. You will be able to see each piece, but it won't be put together until you tell me where it is to be placed. Each piece weighs a ton so its easier to just assemble it there." Ash leads Logan to the storage area in the back.

On heavy tarps the pieces of the horse's body can be seen. It is in five pieces the rear of the horse is split between the two legs. The torso is one piece. and the front quarters are split down the middle. The piece looks to be a full sized horse.

Logan looks at the various pieces, nodding.

"It looks Awesome, man."


"Can we name it 'Twice Born'?"

Ash laughs are the question, "I suppose since you are paying for it you can call it what ever you would like. I should have it done in another month and a half or so. I am working on the head now and that will be the hardest part. Where am I going to be delivering it to?"
