Thread: Calling the Seneschal Ash Winters and a meeting -06/20/2010 (Attn: Seneschal Ash Winters only!)

A beautiful young blond woman answers the door.

"Mr. Ravencroft?"

"Yes ma'am, is Seneschal Winters around? He said to come on by so i hope i am not disturbing him if i am a tad late, had trouble finding his studio." Jaysin said smiling at the blonde woman not trying to be rude by admiring her, but she was attractive.

The blond looks at Jaysin and tsks, "MISTER Winters is in his study. He has been expecting you. If you will follow me I will take you to him."

The blond leads Jaysin through the halls to a study filled with books, except for one whole wall that is clear except for a few old looking books.

Ash looks up at Jaycin and Ginelle as they enter. "Thank you, Ginelle. You may have the rest of the evening to do as you wish." Looking to Jaysin, "Please have a seat. And tell me why you believe I have summoned you."

"I guess to explain the incident of the "alleyway" and if i found anything out about it through my investigation? If that's not why, then i may be at a disadvantage sir." Jaysin said as he was getting comfortable in the chair across from the Seneschal. The walk towards the study was interesting, but the study its self intrigued him, Jaysin only saw such things from brief visits too his former Prince's study in Kennett, which made him wonder if all Toreadors kept such exquisite studies. Prying his eyes away from the books on the walls, Jaysin turned his attention back to the seneschal.

Ash sits back, "Quite correct. I was curious as to what Mackenzie might have told you. Now, about this attack. I was told that you were investigating how so many in the city were contacted at thier private numbers and told to meet at the place of the attack. How goes that investigation and what have you turned up so far? A second question to ponder while you answer is 'Why in the hell would you go to a place from a text message from someone you didn't know? And in doing so why would you violate the Masquerade when facing down mortals?'"

Anger flashes in his eyes momentarily, but his outward demeanor doesn't change from someone just having a conversation and asking questions.

"The investigation is going smoothly, i should have some information soon to share. As to why i went there from a text message, was because very, very few have my cell number. I can count them on just one hand, plus i had just gotten back from Kennett,MO my former Toreador Master and Prince of Kennett Miss Monica Marchbanks called in her boons from not killing me, by having me watch my sire meet final death and then kill my sire's newly embraced childe. So i went under false pretences, i was not in the right state at the moment. Now as to if these bikers were normal mortal men, well that's being investigated as well, i can so far say from my personal intel that my investigator isn't so sure they were just mortal men. I think they were ghouls, being a former toreador ghoul myself, one just doesn't get gutted twice and still stand with chains, tire irons and still continue fighting. I do take full responsibility for my actions, i was going on instinct, had alot on my mind and accepted that i was a stupid callous idiot according to some kindred here in Lamar. That's why i am conducting this full investigation on the matter. I also told my clan members, and the Archon-General-Colonel Walker took over my major boon i owed our *Feared* Sherrif for the incident. He also knows i wasn't used to having to fight and told me those more experienced in the matter may be willing too help teach me, and learning to use my abilities so i don't breach the masquerade again is my priority now." Jaysin felt like a tape recorder, he worried but toughed it out. Jaysin only hoped things got better, this whole "incident" wasn't registering the way it did to him and his investigator.

Ash nods about the investigation. "So what information do you have at present? How are you investigating? Are there resources that you need to help with it? And if so, what do you need?"

In response to the incident, "Yes there are several here who can train you to handle yourself. If you wish I can arrange to help you for a price or you can approach JTM or Kendov even. I am sure either of these would be a good choice as well. As for the bikers, what was done with them? And what steps that you know of to cover the breach were taken?"

"The only thing i have heard so far, is that those bikers have a blotted past. I am using all my resources i have (x4) and calling in a favor i have to gain more information, but i do appreciate the offer of help. Plus anyone, either you or someone you may know who's skilled in Combat better than i am could help me, 'cause i could learn a few things. I dont mind paying too learn either." Jaysin hoped that his asking for help in fighting wasn't looked down upon, he sure did want to be prepared better next time.
"As far as what steps were used for covering up the breach sir, Our *Feared* Sherrif told all five of us to leave that he'd cover it up, as to how he did just that. I truly do not think any of us know how he did it. Sorry sir."

Ash nods, "Understood on Mr. Brumman taking responsibility for the bikers. Unfortunately with his demise that leaves us at a distinct disadvantage as to what was done. If you can put the word out on the street to track down those bikers. We need to check up on them."

Ash looks at Jaysin, "I can teach you to fight better if you wish. I can teach you weapons, fists, tooth and claw, or with firearms if you wish. I will teach the the basics of each for a minor boon. I am sure there are others in the city as well that may teach you if you wish to learn from another."
