A young blond meets AJ near the door, "You must be Mr. Forsythe. Mr. Winters is expecting you. If you will follow me I will take you to him."

Taking AJ to the back of the studio she opens a door to a small study. "Mr. Winters, Mr. Forsythe is here to see you."

Ash looks up from his reading, "Thank you Ginelle. Mr. Forsythe, please come in and take a seat." Ash will wait for AJ to take a seat then, "I supposed we should start this conversation off with the matter of Scourge. Am I understanding that you are wishing to step down from that position in the event that Mr. Cahill finds you worty to become the new Sheriff?"

A.J. takes a seat and listens to Mr. Winters intently, making sure he didn't miss anything from the beginning of the conversation on. He thinks about the question posed a moment and answers, "As we both know, the Sheriff position is an important one. In some cities, the office of the Scourge is not even used as the Sheriff is quite capable of fullfilling both jobs in most cases. So, to answer your question, if Mr. Cahill deemed to name me Sheriff, it is only then that I would step away from the office of the Scourge."

He pauses a moment before continuing a little further, "I initially had not considered the position of Sheriff as at times it can be somewhat of a political office, but after an extensive talk with a deputy under several Sheriffs and a former Sheriff herself, Ms. Fitzpatrick, I decided that it would be unacceptable for me to not offer my services in this capacity to Mr. Cahill."

Ash nods at AJ's explanation. "Here is another question for you. If chosen as Sheriff your first and foremost focus will be the finding and destruction of Malcolm. Are you prepared for the consequences that may come from such a hunt?"

A.J. leans forward and looks Ash in the eyes. His tone is serious but respectful. He says, "I have already been hunting Malcolm. I have been exhausting the resources I have at my disposal already to try to locate him. So, to answer your question, it changes nothing for me. I already am looking for him. I am aware of the consequences that may come of the hunt and will face them head on when that day comes."

Ash nods, "Very well. I will let Mr. Cahill know you are interested. We will be in contact shortly. Thank you for your time this evening."

A.J. nods and stands, offering Ash his hand, "Thank you for hearing me out. I appreciate your time and hospitality."

Ash shakes AJ's hand. "I am sure we will be in touch soon. I hope you have a pleasant rest of your evening."
