Thread: A missed meeting... (Attn: Calhoun)

Calhoun arrives on time at Idle Hands and will knock on the door waiting to be welcomed into the studio by the Seneschal.

((oc: Maybe it's the heat or the fact that I have my sister here still but I'm blanking on what the topic of the meeting is, could you pm me? Calhoun is not nearly as forgetful as Dee.))

Ash meets Calhoun at the door.

"Please Mr. Calhoun, come in. I don't believe you have been to Idle Hands before. Welcome to my studio."

Ash will then lead Calhoun through the studio and back towards a study.

"As a matter of fact, I have not. I'm glad that I can now say I've finally changed that." He follows into Ash's study, taking a look around as they walk through the studio.

"I'm actually quite a fan of the arts of all kinds. I have something of a private collection in my haven. Perhaps I should consider comissioning you for a work as so many others have."

Ash smiles at the comment. It will be some time before I can take on another full sized commission. I am currently in working on a HUGE piece for Pius. And the new Dr. Dupre has a piece comeing as well. Something smaller I can work in though."

Ash follows Calhoun into the study. There are several very old grimoire style books arranged on the table mixed in with art history books open to statues of angels.

"Please have a seat, Mr. Calhoun."

Calhoun looks at the angels in the books for only a brief moment before sitting down politely.

Ash sits across from Calhoun, "I have a couple things for you tonight. First is, Mr. Cahill and myself would like to know the current resources that Clan Nosferatu can bring to bear in the event of a crisis. We are looking for how much pull within the Mortal spheres each clan can bring to bear. I know you might not know this right off hand but we would like to have it as soon as you can gather that information. The second item is, have you seen Lydia because I wished to ask her what information she had found out for you on Mr. Webber. It has been 3 nights since she slept last in the apartment."

Calhoun sighs. "No, I'm afraid I haven't seen Lydia. Not at all." He shakes his head. "I'm sorry she told you about our business arrangement. Her contacts apparently stalled out and it was a matter of some great annoyance that I was forced to make you and Bill wait on the information about Webber because her man... who I gave my own resources to, hasn't come through on our arrangement yet." He shakes his head.

"I'll ask around about Lydia though. It is odd she's not been seen. Have you asked the Malkavians yet? Perhaps she's on sabatical?"

"As for the resources of the clan, I'll get right on figuring up what we can bring to bear right away. I do know that we have a fairly strong control over the transportation in the city. We've had to stop flow into and out of the city for Mr. Cahill before and slowed police and emergency response time to certain areas of the city to protect the masquerade before. I'm sure I could repeat that if necessary."

Ash sighs when Calhoun hasn't heard from Lydia.

"I believe that she was worried that the reason for our meeting those weeks ago was that I was going to press you for the information about Mr. Webber. She pulled me aside to tell me that you had an arrangement to find the information and that she didn't have anything yet. She mentioned that you felt a bit pressured in my checking in with you about it. That wasn't the reason for the meeting at all. It was for the information I asked you about tonight. We, Mr. Cahill and I, were not completely sure who was speaking for the family at the time."

Calhoun chuckles. "Pressured? No. Annoyed... yes. Bill talks to me quite regularly and he has made a game out of this particular kindred. Not having the information about Mr. Webber yet, having Lydia not pay as she said she could, and having to face you about it when I know Bill hardly gives to rats' asses... well," He shakes his head chuckling.

"I'm sure there are better things we could all be doing with our time but when Bill gets something in his head..." He rolls his eyes.

"Please, if I've offended indirectly, allow me to make that right."
