Thread: Meeting Mr. Winters (Ash only 7/18)

The young lady looks up and nods, "Is Mr. Winters expecting you? If he isn't may I inform him of the business that you wish to speak with him about?"

Elizabeth looks at the lady "No I don't believe he is expecting me. I am new to the city and am making rounds introducing myself to people. Mr. Cahill said I might like to drop by and see him. If this is a bad time I can make an appointment and come back some other time."

The young lady nods at the mention of Mr. Cahill, "No, Mr. Winters is at his workbench. He seems to always make time for visitors so I am sure he will see you. Right this way if you would."

The young lady escorts Elizabeth into the main room of the studio. Ash is sitting in his customary spot at his workbench a wing nearly six feet in length is being detailed with final touches. Ash looks up at the two approaching women, turning to Ginelle.

"And whom have you brought to see me, mon fleur?"

Ash stands as Ginelle introduces Ms. Williams. He extends a hand to her.

"Ash Winters, Ms. Williams. What is it that I can do for you this evening?" A small smile on his face.

Elizabeth reaches out to shake his hand. "Hello, I am Elizabeth Williams. I am new to the city and a friend suggested I come by and see you. Mr. Cahill speaks highly of you."

Ash shakes her hand and says, "Greetings, Ms. Williams. You are a friend of Mr. Cahill then?"

Beth waits for Ginelle to leave the room "Yes I have known Mr. Cahill and Calhoun for quite some time now. This is not my first time in this city. I have fought side by side with some of the older ones in this city. I am quite proud to know them." She pauses for a moment "I am now the speaker for my clan and have already heard about a possible incident and wanted to let you as the Seneshcal know that I have Mr. Calhoun educating the young ones in our clan."

Ash nods, "Ah, then I take it you are speaker for the Nosferatu. That is excellent to hear as they have not had much luck with anyone holding that position for the past several months. I do hope that you break that streak and hold the position for some time."

Ash places his hand on the wing and then blows the small stone chips and dust away from where he has been shaping the wings. He then motions to a stool on the other side of the bench from him.

"Please have a seat. I have heard that your family has had a rash of newly embraced Kindred showing up in the city of late. Have you or any of the rest of your family been able to gather any information about this?"

"I do hope to continue as speaker for our clan. I have been busy with the recent rash of embraces. I am hoping to have that taken care of soon. Mr. Calhoun has agreed to assist me in this matter. He has taken on the task of teaching the young ones for me. He will be good with this matter."

Beth walks over and sits down and watches him work. Looking at the piece she motions towards it "This does take some patience doesn't it. I might have to see about you making something for my place when you get the time."

"Well then, it is good to see Clan Nosferatu taking care of their own."

Ash holds up the piece he is working on and chuckles.

"Yes, it is VERY time consuming. This is actually four full size statues combined when it is finalized. It should take me another 6 months at the least."
