Thread: Working for the money, :(attend all)

Lazarus sits in the Resturant watching cattle population speak about this and that. He is looking for something but he just isnt sure yet. Perhaps a little inside info on whos who, or how much this area used to be nice. Or mayhap even what the area needs next that he can exploit.

Never the less he sits watching the cows an empty chair next to him that is still pushed in. A beer on the table, what appears to be a half consumed basket of frys.

Lydia walks towards the restaurant and sees the one performing magic. With an amused look on her face she walks in the restaurant and looks around to see who all is there.

Out on Patrol, Corin see's a crowd gathering around, and tilts her head to one side. This was very unusual for Industrial Mall, so of course she moves in to see what is happening. When she see's Jano she smiles and shakes her head.

Always aiming to please the crowd.

A non descript man, one that most forget once he is gone, passes through the group. He moves directly to the table were the prince is sitting and pulls out the chair flopping down. He looks the prince dead in the eyes as he moves into his space, not flinching or hesitating in his actions.

“We need to talk as soon as you are able. The room is ready for your next lesson when you have the chance but fist there is some business that must be discussed. When you have time let me know and we will meet. Until then enjoy your evening.”

The man stands pushing the chair back under the table. With a quick nod he looks around and heads back out into the crowd were his simply vanishes in the confusion that his passing leaves.

Jano make mental notes as he see the kindred walking around, But never lets on, as time goes on the tricks get more and more elaborate, so far as reading thoughts, not just simple is this your card,

but "Your lost loved one understands that you need to move on, don't fear that you shame his memory, live your life of love." The widow that had just walked up begins to cry and offers money that Jano doesn't take, then offers a card. "If you need someone to talk to," the widow nods with a smile. and the crowd claps.

Jano ask many to step back for his next trick. All the kine do as instructed like cattle with awed looks on there faces.
Jano whispers to his hands as he rubs them as if to gather something, they begin to glow red, and sparks are seen then as he opens his palm a small flickering flame, Jano is talking sweetly to it then reminds everyone to stay back, then leans back as if offering the fire to the sky. Jano blows a large flume of fire into the sky, the crowd cheers, and again another shot of hot fire blast forth from his hands this time any one could almost see it form into the shat of a bird at the end.
Jano does this on last time and releases the flame to fly away and dissipate into the night sky. cheers are roaring and money is thrown, Jano quickly stops most of this and hands the money back with cards of contact information.

"for my next trick; who would like to fly?" Jano looks for the brave hands and smiles.

Lenore, walking the streets, as she is apt to do, grins in a manner most feral. She raises her hand, near the edge of the crowd. "I do believe I'd like to try...if you don't mind?" It is apparent only to the other Kindred in the area that she is having trouble holding back gales of laughter.

Mackenzie was out patrolling and was suprised to see a large gathering of people. Walking up to see what's going on, she sees Lenore and Corin. Looking closer, she notices Lydia and Jano.

Stepping where she can hear, but not crowding, she stands and observes.

Jano scans the few and smiles at Lenore, then picks a young girl after nodding to the parent that the girl will be safe. The little girl could be no more than 7 years old, wearing a yellow sundress. Jano locks eyes with the child whispering words. The child looks unflinching back a Jano then closes her eye and collapses in air Jano making movements as if he holds her, the Parent gasps with the rest to the Kine,

Jano reassures them, "she is only asleep in a wonderful dream," and with that leans her back as her feet rise from the ground, she now floats her height above the ground.
Jano removes his Jacket and thows it over the girl, but if falls to the ground the girl gone, the parent rushes Jano, Demanding his child. Jano smiles.
"Papa? why are you hurting my friend?" the sweet voice of the young girl is barley heard over the mans threats.
"A fathers love is to be honored, as is a child's life." Jano smiles as the man lets go and turns to hug his little girl.
"What would you all like to see next?" Jano laughs to ease the crowd once more.
