Thread: Meeting with Maddy (5/24)

Maddy will arrive within 30 minutes. She is wearing a dark green pant suit and smiling happily.

"Well well Lydia dear, I'm so glad you wanted to visit with me! What's the topic of the evening?"

She sits down casually, playing with a charm bracelet that has only one charm, a flat silver square with the letter J on one side and W on the other.

Lydia smiles as Maddy walks in. "Any topic you would like. You always said you wish people would visit with you more often and I know you like tea parties."

Getting up Lydia walks over to a cabinet and pulls out a tea service set.

Walking back over she places it on the table and begins to set things where they go. Setting a cup and saucer in front of Maddy, "Think of something yet?" Smiling she picks up the tea pitcher and pours.

Maddalena frowns in thought. "What do you think about all this nonsense about a Giovanni being linked to every Seal?"

Thinking on Maddy's comment she doesn't say anything for a few moments. "Well I haven't really thought of it that way. I don't think a Giovanni can be linked to each and every one. I think that he has had a run of bad luck with it all. But no I don't think he is. Why do you ask? What do you think of it?"

She looks at Maddy's teacup and picks up the pitcher to pour her some more tea.

Maddalena chuckles
"Thank you" she says as Lydia pours the tea.
"Not Constantino specifically. A Giovanni. Not even the same one, several in total perhaps. It just came to me. Many things have come to me recently. It seems my sister has been hiding things from me."

Setting down the tea pitcher she sits down. "I am sorry if it seems that I have been hiding things from you. To tell you the truth I am not sure on what you are talking about. If you would care to point me in the direction maybe I will understand and get with the program as some say."

"And this is where the difficulty lies, darling. Maddy doesn't think you're hiding things from her, not intentionally, but she does believe that you are not talking to her anymore. She feels that you have chosen your allegience to Benjamin and Ash over family. Not even her specifically, but the clan in general. This is an very foreign concept for her. She's never been in an environment where friends came before family and so she doesn't quite know how to deal with it. I was just bringing up the Seals topic because it seemed you wanted to talk but didn't know where to start."

Maddalena smiles warmly at Lydia. "Personally, I think that Maddy's gone a little off the deep end and is scared that there are plots to end her life."

"I wish she would understand that because I am close to someone outside of the family does not mean I choose them over her. That is why I am here, I miss our visits."

Lydia laughs. "Yes I think my dear sister has lost it a bit." She frowns "I have not heard of this plot on ending her life. I will see what I can find out"

"I'm not convinced that there is a plot, but she worries and so I must worry as well. Ah well, is there any topic you wanted to talk about? Something on your mind?"

She smiles and takes a sip from her cup.
