Thread: Waiting - Lydia, Any Malkavian

Stan will come by doing his nightly cheack. He will stop off to look at the boys chart to see who is asigned to him tonight. No need to let past events relapse again. He will look in the door and smile at the boy who is usually asleep when he comes by. He will five him a quick node as he starts to move off. Unless the boy does something to stop him he will move off doing his rounds, makeing a note to stop by latter to see if the boy is resting yet.

The boy looks at Stan through the door, a slight smile forming on his face as he makes eye contact. As Stan starts to move on, the smile fades and he resumes staring, a pensive waiting feeling.

Maddalena will come to visit the boy after Stan has gone on his rounds. While she does not exactly sneak to the boy's room, she also tries not to gain any attention. She carefully opens his door and peeks in.
"Hello, I would like to speak with you if you have time?" She speaks to the boy as if he is her equal.

Lydia walks down the hallway heading towards the room where they are keeping the boy. She gets to the door and looks in at him. Smiling as she sees he is fine. (she is using unseen presence).
She waits until someone enters to take him medication. She goes in with them and stands to the side. Once they are gone she looks over to Maddalena and smiles r "hello sister dear, how are you this evening?"
Looking over to the boy, Lydia smiles and sits down next to him. "Hello Steven"

The boy looks at Maddalena and nods slowly, his eyes bright and sharp.

"Of course Auntie Maddie," he says a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth, but he struggles to appear very adult.

As Lydia appears his eyes dart to her and light up, the smile no longer contained.

"Lydia!" he almost squeals.

Mini Ogre listens intently from the shadows (OoC: obfuscate 2 and auspects 2 to hear and hide). He hears the boy react to maddalena and lydia. It took Mini Ogre awhile to find the boy. He figured to look at the asylum. When he found out what room he wanted to cry inside. Mini thought to himself "No child deserves to be caged. Would they do that to a child? What if it isn't as it seems?" Mini expected stan to be involved. It was like pulling fangs to get stan to talk to him. It seemed like all his brothers and sisters were being secretive about "Steven". Mini keeps listening.

Grabbing the boy's hand Lydia asks him "Are they treating you well?"

His eyes widen slightly, a frown forming on his lips.

"It's not as bad . . . as it was," he say. "They don't stick me as much . . ." He looks from Lydia to Maddalena, an air of sadness settling over him that blankets the room.

Maddalena looks at the boy. "I know, you don't want to be here. And soon we will be able to take you away. Just not quite yet. We need to know why they brought you here first." She has taken on the tone of an older loving sister with the boy.
